My queen of packing light technique isn't working so well! DH decided he doesn't want to wear/bring a sports jacket for formal night. He'll be the one wearing a shirt & tie only.

Hey all my **sniff** former Cruise-A-Palooza cruisemates~ in the midst of all of this we had some decisions to make since I bought my cruise insurance too late to cover 'pre-existing' conditions. UGH. We called our travel agent and changed the date until 12/8. This is the latest time that the cruise is about the same price. It jumps up a ton of money after that for close to a year! What's up with that?!?!? Long story short, changing everything cost us about $750. If something happens and we still can't go in Dec., then we'll change it until next October. We just didn't have a couple of thousand to change it to early next year and my husband wanted to try it this way.

Anyway....for those of you that haven't left yet, have a magical, wonderful, amazing, safe trip!

Tracy, I'm very sorry about DFIL and having to cancel. Very glad that you were able to re-book. We'll be thinking of you at the Dis-meet.

We are flying out of here at 5:00 in the AM this Friday. I am curious who is leaving last, is it me? I mean someone has to turn off the cyber lights and lock the door.

I've been SOOOO busy at work the last 2 days, I just had to read 3 pages to catch up.

Anyway, our flight leaves Albany at 7:35am, Friday. We should be in Orlando around 10-ish.

I've got to get back in the "OMG, WE'RE LEAVING IN 3 DAYS!!!!!" mode.

EVERYONE have a safe trip!!!! We'll see you there!

Looks like I may be the last one leaving. Our flight leaves at 900am on Friday - Since that's Phoenix time, it will be noon Orlando time before we are on our way. I have started packing and am in the house looks like a tornado hit it mode. Tomorrow is my last day of work and then it's time to get serious about packing on Thursday.

Well, I guess I will be stuck turning the lights off here, as we don't leave until 2:30pm. Don't worry, I will triple check they are off, along with the stove, my curling iron, and everything else I normally obsess over.

Actually, we just couldn't think of pulling the kids out of school for another whole day, so we are torturing them and making them go to school Friday until noon. It's already crazy trying to make up all the schoolwork before leaving. We have been in project h**l all week.

I can't believe everything I have to do yet (ie: laundry and packing!
) Why oh why do I have to work for a living?? Can't I just take off ALL week to get my crap together??

Best wishes to those traveling sooner. And I will remember to turn off the lights!

PS: Do you see what time I am writing this?? 4:58am. I, too, cannot sleep from all this excitement!

Alright all. You all are leaving before me so don't worry about the lights. I'll take care of them. My family doesn't leave until 6:20am on Saturday. Yes folks, our plane leaves at 6:20am on Saturday. So actually I'll leave here around 4:30am on Saturday. Ugh. This is what we get for allowing Disney to do our travel arrangements. Although it's not a bad flight, we've already decided the next trip we'll do our own planning and go a day earlier.

Tracey, so glad you were able to rebook. Bummer about the $$. We're praying for you and your family. You will be strengthened during this difficult time. Be blessed and you will be missed.

So, 3 days huh. AAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I've still got lots to do. I'm a terrible procrastinator. Oh well. It'll get done.

Good afternoon Kristi and Heather...I would not stress, I think you 2 are the smart ones You only have to handle your luggage once, if I'm not mistaken, after you check your luggage at your home airport you will not have to mess with it until it shows up at your room on the ship. Everyone else that either flew in or is flying in on Fri. has to retrieve their luggage, haul it to there hotel and haul it back to the bus. I don't know about you, but that is a pain. Since we drive down, my wife will pack a small bag for us to take into the hotel, everything else stays packed in the car. Plus, since your arriving around 10ish, you should be able to go straight to the bus.... THAT'S WHEN REALITY HITS!!!! ONLY ONE MORE HOUR TILL YOU SEE THE PRETTIEST SHIP ON THE SEA!!!!!!

Hey Keith. You got a point there with the luggage thing. So thrilled to know I don't have to deal with it once it's at the airport and checked in. Who knows what it'll look like once it's all packed. You all have a safe driving trip now. We'll see everyone on that beautiful ship that I've only seen pictures of or seen on tv. Claudine&John, looks like you'll be one of the last as well. Hey...speaking of procrastinating(sp?), I better get the luggage out of storage tonight. That's right, we have not started packing yet, but we do have some clothes hanging up that we are going to take. I'm a light packer, I've learned after 7 cruises, YOU DON'T WEAR HALF OF WHAT YOU PACK! My wife is the 'QUEEN OF PACKING' as long as I stay our of her way.

Ok everybody we are driving from Tampa over to Disney World Friday afternoon. So I'll turn off the lights, feed the cat & dog and lock up if'n you want me too. I probably won't be geting back on here to say hey to ya'll, so I'll say Hey to ya'll now. And when we meet on board. Man oh man that sure is nice to say, on board. DW, DGD and myself planned this little outing over 1 1/2 years ago, and now it's here. Can't believe it. Everyone, you guys have a safe and enjoyable journey down here to the Sunshine State. Has anyone checked the weather for the cruise? I've only been able to find St. Thomas but it shows they are supposed to have rain for the next 10 days. Hopefully that'll change before we go. Or if it does rain maybe quick showers?

Also, has anyone signed up for excursions? I'm curious as to how full they typically are. This is our first cruise so I'm clueless

I checked, & our flight leaves at 7:30, meaning we should arrive at Port Canaveral around 12:00. I guess we won't be boarding pass number one, but that's OK

I saw rain for both the Bahamas and St Thomas. Could not find St Maarten. But hopefully their weather is like Orlando, they call for rain alot and they only get small showers.

I'm still here also. I was starting to think that I was going to be the last one...we leave Friday at 4:50 pm. Then it's a night at the Hyatt.

My DH and I were going through his clothes last night. The other weekend we bought him new socks, t-shirts, and underwear. I go to pack the new tshirts and discovered they are TALLS.! Don't you hate that!!
Of course I was just at Walmart that day. As much as I try to stay on top of things - I can't stay ahead!

We're leaving tomorrow morning. We land at MCO almost 11pm and then off to Disney World on Friday

And so much for me being Queen of Packing Light. Since we are also doing WDW, Epcot and Animal Kingdom, I've decided to bring a stroller, too. So now we have 2 checked luggage, one daybag, one backpack DS will be pulling, and a stroller. Thank God we got a rental car!

Last load of laundry in the washer. Going over everything in my mind to make sure I have everything. I need to make one final purchase to complete my tag gifts. Then tomorrow at 4PM, I am on vacation. I have a manicure and pedicure scheduled for 5PM. It is sooooo close now.
