October 13, 2013 4 Night Cruise!!!!

:jumping1: <----- Us when we heard about Halloween on the High Seas. B2B baby!!!! pixiedust:

Hubby and I have already figured out what our costumes will be. We're dressing up as tacky tourists! Now I just have to buy him the plaid shorts and neon flowered Hawaiian shirt. :rolleyes1 Between the 2 of us, we have the cameras covered, 3 DSLR's, 2 Point & Shoots, video cameras, camera bags, etc .... you name it, we've got it :rotfl2:

I've also been working on some new magnet ideas for the cruise:

I love your Magnet you came up, with so excited for a party like this

I am still trying to decide about port adventures. Has anyone went thru some of the others for adventures or mostly book thru disney? If u went thru someone else, who did u use? hope this makes sense

We are planning on attending MNSSHP Thursday Oct 17. I know the party on the ship will be great, but I still want to go to the party in the park. I love the "Boo to You" parade. You are right, we would save the cost of 7 park tickets. It's something to consider. Thanks for the idea.pirate:

We are also going to the mnsshp on the 17th. I love the parade also. It is something to see.

hey Nanmommy!

I noticed..our rooms are literally across the ship from one another! We won't have to go far for our FE's! hehe!

Also I noticed there are alot of people on deck 7!

Hello White Rose! I did notice that there were several people on deck 7 for FE. I am in 7082 and I have family members next door in 7080. They are also doing FE. This is our first Disney Cruise, but have made lots of trips to WDW and we are DVC members. We can't wait! party:

We are in 7582! It is on the other side of the elevators! not a lot of walking for us! :)

So speaking of the Fish Extenders I've had a few people ask me about the cut-off date. Seems to me on other cruises we've done that the cut-off was around a month before the cruise. Does that sound about right? As of today we have 15 cabins and 42 people. Do you all want to break the FE up into smaller groups? On our last cruise (Panama Canal) we had smaller groups and a group of people that wanted to give to everyone. 15 cabins is pretty manageable so I don't think we need to worry about it right now; however, think about it and give me some feedback. Thanks! :wave2:

We did the MNSSHP for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. We'd done the Christmas party but not Halloween. As it turned out, they were having a soft opening for the new portions of Fantasyland so that was a nice surprise.

Jeff, I am up for what ever the group decides. I do not mind having 15 rooms.. and 42 people... Julie

Hey Jeff, speaking of Fish Extenders. Could you add us to the list, please? I just finished working something special up for our group :scared1:

Jeff,
I know that we possiblily will have other people added. I gave your email to Christina from Long Island. They are on roll call, but not on FE list yet. She wanted to do it. There are 4 or 5 of them. My friend and her family also want on. There are 4 of them. I gave her your email also to get on the list. I believe a month or month and a half would be good. I have been working on my stuff and right now I have done everyone.

I am good with whenever you decide to cut it off. At this point, I agree and think it is a manageable size but having done this before, the list has a tendency to grow more quickly once it gets closer to sailing time.

Twelve weeks to go and it will be our turn. Pretty gloomy looking there today I would say.

1 1/2 months works for me. I am making some stuff and I am going into my busy season with work, and we are going to WDW before the cruise. We leave Oct 5.

I will need more supplies soon. I would rather not break up the list unless it gets really large! I have to remember even though we are at 15 now, only 14 gifts are needed because I am not making any for my hubby and I to keep for ourselves.

I wonder if the Halloween party will add more Disers to the cruise? There might be some last minute adds once the full details are released and we see decorations and such from the September cruises.

I think a month before sale date is fine. On our last cruise we cut it off 6 weeks out and still had people joining. I guess if the list stays below 25 cabins, we should be fine about keeping the group together. :woohoo:

Our last 4-night Dream cruise we wound up splitting it into two groups but we had I think 26 or 27 cabins. Even splitting into two groups it was still nice. The smaller grouping made it easier for transporting items back and forth (less to pack) with air travel and luggage.

That said, I/we are good either way.

I got the email from Christina and sent her a link to the FE list but do not see that she's added her party on there. I just sent her another email noting what information I needed in order to add her.

Hello everyone. I have not really been posting on here much, but plan on participating in the FE. This is our first cruise and we can not book anything until the 30th of July. So I was wondering if I will have a problem booking Palo brunch and some nursery time? Also, have any of you ever tried to book additional nursery time on the ship and been turned down?

Thanks

Done. Just you and Stephen right? No allergies?
I'm deathly allergic to mango and have a slight 'problem' with pepper, but that shouldn't be a issue. Thank goodness, no chocolate allergy for either of us :rotfl2: BTW, I updated the FE list with the allergy info and # of rugrats (none).
