Packing luggage question

Looking for a good recommendation for those bags and the handler held rechargeable air pump thing. Where you can put many items of clothing in bag and vacuum out all the air with hand held pump. It also is plug in rechargeable. They have several makers out there. Looking for suggestions on the ones that work well.

I bought one, did work, but didn't lay flat. A bit better than the ones your push the air out of yourself.
I got mine off of Amazon after seeing a few ads, sorry can't quite recall the brand. It wasn't that much -maybe $20 or 25?
And I can't for the life of me figure out why TSA would 'hate' me for it like they say in the ad! Ha, like TSA cares!

Personally, I prefer compression packing cubes, but if I were going to get any, it would be the ones where you push out the air yourself. I don't want to be at the mercy of a machine that may decide to stop working when I need it to be there for me.

OP, I was on my second trip using these (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6Y6XSSM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1), and don't like typing long messages on my phone, so was waiting until I returned.

I am generally able to pack for a week in just a carry on, but I needed to pack some long sleeve T-shirts that's additional to what I normally pack and wanted to see if these would help. I figured for $40, if they didn't help, it wasn't a lot of money wasted.

After two trips, I'm still figuring out the "best" way to load the bags. They did save space in my luggage, maybe ~10-20%.

As far as the concern about the vacuum failing, the one I have has a battery indicator. I've pumped 10 bags (granted, the small ones) so far and haven't had to recharge.

If you can afford the money, give it a shot.
