Me too so excited! cant wait to get to DCL.. our first Disney cruise.. DEFINATELY plan on doing FE.. its a surprise for my 10 year old daughter :cool1::cheer2:

Welcome and excited your doing the FE also.... So excited this will be my second cruise.. I live right below you in Alabama... look forward to meeting you. Julie

Just booked our Dolphin Encounter for Nassau. Should be fun. My kids are over the moon excited!

We were able to get everything we wanted for this cruise. Palo Brunch, Palo Dinner and the Blue Lagoon Beach Day. We also got 11-1130 port arrival time. We have to wait for mom and dad to check-in on the 31, to see what port arrival time they get.

This is the first cruise we have been able to book everything on our first booking night. I did check on a cabana, just out of curiosity, and none available.

I wish that was the case for us! We were just hoping for a cabana. We called to see if there was a waiting list...nope....just keep trying. We are hoping for one on the adult beach. We will check daily...fingers crossed!

Happy Independence Day!

OHDisneyDaddy77 - I knew you were from Ohio but not sure exactly where until I noticed today on the website. I am from Elyria and DH is from Lorain. It really is amazing how small our world is.

Sorry I have been away from the boards from a while, life keeps getting in the way...and just saw your message. It is a small world seems every trip down to the world we run into people from within a few miles of where we live. I am actually overlapping a couple of days with someone I work with on this trip.

Well this is exciting... Looks like we'll be getting a Disney Dream exclusive, new Halloween party at sea.

I just read on the Disney blog that the Dream is having a Nightmare before Christmas celebration and a monster costume party. I am trying to find out if this replaces the pirate party or if it is an addition. If anyone knows, please post. I tried to post the link, but I haven't made enough posts to allow links.

Glad I was not the only one that got excited today about the Halloween information...
More information to be released tomorrow, was said it is not on every voyage.
I'm posting the info here too..

Celebrate the Seasons at Sea with Disney Cruise Line

This year, Disney Cruise Line® is celebrating the seasons at sea with festive themed sailings.

Halloween on the High Seas Cruises
For Halloween, you will have a scream aboard the Disney Dream. From Sept. 22 Oct. 31, you can enjoy spooky special events and trick-or-treating throughout the ship. Theyll experience:
" Special Halloween décor including a massive pumpkin tree in the atrium that sprouts overnight!
" Kids will love trick or treating with their favorite Disney characters and marching in the Costume parade
" Adults can enter a costume contest and dance the night away with a villainous take over in Evolution Night Club
" The whole family can enjoy a Mousequerade deck party and scream along with Jack and Sally at the Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream show!

Thank you Kstatefan for the info. My granddaughter and nephew will be so excited about the two parties.:wizard:

Sounds like so much fun. At first I thought they were going to do away with the pirate night party - I'm glad to see that they are keeping that as well. So looking forward to this trip. :hmghost:

Wait... Should I pack a costume too?????:confused3

;)

WOW! You mean this is going to be happening on our cruise. It was already exciting. It will be out of this world exciting now!!!!

This is gonna save us $400 by us not having to do mnsshp while we are at the parks! Yay! I'm super excited...not to get a costume figured out....hmmm

Good morning! We sailed over Halloween on the Magic a few years ago and it was indeed a fun experience. We live in the country and don't get any trick-or-treaters and it was so fun to see all the little ones dressed up. Since I can't fathom they will do it Sunday night and Tuesday is Pirate Night it sort of only leaves Monday. Plus, since that is our sea day, they can add the other activities as well.

I hope that you are all out of this heat and staying cool. We have had a heat advisory (never happened before, in the 15 plus years that we have lived here) in effect all week. Enough is enough - I would prefer the snow!
OK, rant over - have an awesome day all!!

We are planning on attending MNSSHP Thursday Oct 17. I know the party on the ship will be great, but I still want to go to the party in the park. I love the "Boo to You" parade. You are right, we would save the cost of 7 park tickets. It's something to consider. Thanks for the idea.pirate:
