October 12, 2013 - Western Caribbean on the Fantasy!!!

I found it!!!! On the navigator from 4/14/12 (listed above at staterooms then navigators). It is hidden on page 5....under adults 3:00-3:30 Spa Raffle Senses Spa and Salon.

I also learned that you can share a couples rainforest pass with another person (does not have to be your couple or in your room!!!!) I shared with another disser and they charged each of our rooms 1/2 of the cost.

I can't wait to see the updated navigators to see what they have added/changed since April! Thanks so much!

A little more recent than April, although an Eastern. Maybe I didn't look close enough??? We save every piece of paper DCL gives us & will do the same in December for our Western (and again in March for our Eastern).

Silverfox97- we made sure that those who wanted to do both the dismeet and the spa giveaway were able to do so since you must be present to win, or they give it to someone else. I didn't even know about the spa giveaway until someone else told me about it. I didn't win, but at least I tried.....oh and it's not just for the ladies either. I dragged my DH with me so we got 2 entries! Sorry hubbies!

Sounds good actually! The DIS meet we did in June was perfect at 2-3pm - plenty of time for people to board, eat lunch, drop off carry ons & head up to deck 12. The area where the wading pool is is pretty much forward, as it overlooks the adult pool. That will work out perfectly for those that want to head over to the spa at 3 for the raffle!!!

There have been a few posts since I last checked this thread...

I agree 100% with Silverfox97 on the Farcebook thing - had a page once but deleted it over a year ago. I just could not buy into their "privacy" policies, total ripoff advertisers and all the "app" SPAM. Having accounts hacked repeatedly did not add to the enjoyment either. The last straw was having someone in Abu Dhabi logged into my account at the same time I was "Liking" all kinds of weird stuff. I'll never be back.

A DIS meet on board would be cool - I look forward to it. (Never met anyone from the DISboards IRL, even with my LGMH displayed.) I think I'll keep a closer watch on this thread...

I posted #74 from our last cruise. We threw this together in less than 1 week. 13 ladies....not too shabby for throwing it together last minute. We met in the promenade lounge on the Magic then went to the Atrium for a picture after our drink (alcoholic or not!)

Some people go super fancy with this....goal....meet each other and get to know each other!

Just please be mindful of those of us that aren't and how it affects us/our feelings & try to see the perspective of those of us who KNOW from experience that updating back to the DIS is not the same.

Not sure of who has heard of this, but it's a ton of fun....essentially there is a Mickey Gnome with our cruise destination on magnetic paper and send it from room to room (to those who have signed up prior to the cruise, not to just random people lol!). When we get back, I post the final copy for everyone to see and make their own copy. I am in the process of designing and will ask for opinions on the different choices later.
