To those asking about the Spa Raffle, it's today at 5:15pm. Looks like they change it up from time to time.

Can't wait to sail away at 5pm!

Emily, hope you, Scott and your family are enjoying your cruise this week. Looking forward to when it will be my turn next year.

Have all of you gotten your Christmas shopping done?:santa: I have some of mine done, but still need to wrap them. Have a few more small things to pick up for my daughter from "Santa". Have a great day everyone!

Hi Everyone

We've made the decision to keep this date since I'm hearing the 2014 prices are outrageous. It's Me, hubby and 14 yr. old girl. Is anyone from Kansas City area?

Welcome!!!!! This is still quite a quiet page......we also have a FB page......Let Ssanders know that you want to do the FE and he will sign you up. He started a list in his signature.....

I obviously don't know how to add a reply to an original message. Can someone tell me the Facebook Name for this cruise. Thanks~

You have to send Ssanders79 a PM. Too many cruises with too many meet threads..... Plus, he needs more details than that for the list :)

It was FANTASTIC. Most relaxing cruise we've done yet. Only got off ship at Grand Cayman for DD's obligatory stop at DelSol & to swim for a few hours at Margaritaville, and of course, Castaway Cay. Christmas decorations were breathtaking. I was shocked on how nice the weather was.

We had 44 cabins in the FE exchange. So much candy..... And more candy & candy.... So much that I picked out like 6 pieces & filled a large ziplock bag with the rest & had DH drop it off at the kids club when he went to pick up DD the last night (best place for her when we pack).

DH bought home the flu (I had the flu shot so so far I am unaffected!) & DD brought home pink eye (which I already had medicine from the last time....).

81 days until we are back on the Fantasy in the same room for Spring Break. Love the Eastern with 3 sea days ;)

So glad you had a fantastic cruise! But sorry that Scott came home with the flu and DD wound up with pink eye. My DD had that once when she was little and I had to fight her to get the drops in. So glad she never got it again. I'm with you on the flu shot...I get one every year.

Although I'm sure the FE is fun, we won't be participating. I don't think I want to lug all of that on board with me. I'll have enough suitcases with all of our clothes (yes...I admit it...I'm an overpacker). I'm trying to get better, but so far, haven't done it.

Do you think it is still worth booking onboard for a future cruise? So far, I have never taken advantage of this on my 2 previous cruises, but obviously, I still wind up booking another cruise eventually. I have never tried the Eastern, but I love the sound of 3 sea days.

Okay fellow cruisers.....298 days until we cruise! We finally made it below the 300 day mark (I forgot to post yesterday on our 299 day mark). It will be here before we know it. Have a great day everyone.

I didn't this time but only because we still have a dummy date to move (which I would've moved to Aug 2014 had it not been exorbitantly priced). Yes, rebook on board. You get the on board credit (which almost always covers our tips) and 10% off. We maximize this by booking on board and then moving it when opening day prices are announced, thus in theory getting the nicest price. You can keep moving it until the cows come home ;)

Thanks Emily. I think we will this time. I will have to book it as a dummy date because I'm not sure when I will go again. Maybe 2014 or 2015. I thought I read in a thread here on the DisBoards that you were limited in how many times you could move a dummy date. I'm hoping you are correct in that you can move it as many times as you want.

Glad you had a great time!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! :santa:

I woke up today paranoid that I wont be able to book this cruise, so I looked at back up options, and nothing excites me the way this one does. This is going to be a long waiting process.
