Are you not going to use Disney For al your ground transportation, room etc. ?
I know we had talked about it.

I think I will go ahead and book my room at Sheraton Old San Juan, Jut so I have it. I have not researched enough to know if that is where we want to be for sure but, I saw for this OCT for the days we will be there next OCT that they were already booked!

So I def don't want to wait and miss out.

Will you be walking over to the port from there?

We are really going to try to only have one large suitcase and one pack back a piece so that if we do stay there we can walk.

It depends on how long it takes for the group admin to get and see the notification that you've requested to join.

Sorry if we missed your request. Idk about Steve Graham, but I've been busy getting ready for an out-of-town wedding tomorrow. I just checked and don't see any new requests, so perhaps you've already been added?

Still not in. Tiffany set a request to join the group to me, but it just allows me to request to join still. I cancelled my request and then re-requested.

Hopefullly it will show up this time. Hope you have a nice time at the wedding!!!

Hi, my name is Tammi and I am a DCL addict. It has been 1 year and 7 days since my last cruise. I have finally accepted that I can no longer ignore the urge to cruise.......

Seriously now, my DD and I have cruised on the Magic for spring break in 2011 and 2012. We decided not go this year, and I have been so sad all week. So I decided to visit the DCL website just to see if anything new was going on, and, Oh My Goodness, a Southern Caribbean Itinerary!!! How awesome is that!

We are so excited about this itinerary!!! Another girls trip for us! Yeah

Looks like not only is the itinerary great, but so are the cruisers (based on this thread).

I'll be sending a request to join FB (Tammi Bowen).

Thanks, just tried to book at tha Sheraton. Still not letting us reserve anything online. Tried calling and their phones are not working. I could hear them, but they could not hear me. Tried from 3 different lines, all the same thing. Will try again next weekend.

I just looked at the Sheraton for the cruise before ours to get an idea of pricing - a base room with two double beds is $439 + tax. If that is indeed the cost, I will be looking elsewhere. We'd like one night before the cruise and one night after. I know it's terribly convenient, but I will not pay that.

You are welcome! Are you going to take their shuttle and stay parked there? I thought it was a totally fine place to stay for one night and there are restaurants not too far.

Yes! It was just over $200, which I thought was a deal since it includes a hot breakfast & gated secured parking in a garage. Scott & I preferred that package deal over a cheaper hotel and off site parking, which always has a chance if being sketchy. Heck, we are used to paying $120 ($15/day) at Port Canaveral for parking anyways (& I was not ready to make the jump to $20/day to park at the port of Miami!). So, win-win!
