Sandy, the turkeys are where all the other turkeys are. In my case, Walmart has those center aisle freezer cases...it was in there with the other turkeys. Like i said, you have to look for it, it will be mixed in with all the other plain turkey roasts.

I have no idea. Rental car I guess. Unless we all went in a rented a giant van LOL. Think they have a partridge bus at the airport? How about you?

In 2006, we stayed at the Raddison at the Port... very nice, and they have a free shuttle. We also had a "mini DIS meet" on Friday night out by the pool as many of the DIS folks were at the Raddison.

This year I believe we are staying at the Country Inn and Suites, and they have a shuttle also:

Well, maybe at the very least, if we cannot come up w a better solution, I would be willing to split the costs of a rental van w you, to get from the Hyatt to the dock. Just a thought.

We fly out Saturday evening, so I'm not sure we have enough time to do anything that day or not...

Wow, the Country Inn looks NICE! I'll have to show Steve, but I think we are really going to stay at Pop. We like it there, and we can visit the parks too! I am half contemplating doing one park Friday day...maybe MGM, er ah, I guess it's now HOLLYWOOD Studios , and then MNSSHP in the evening...although, that would be more money AND we would be out a LOT later in the evening, which would make for a long day Saturday....adreneline pumping, we're cruising, and I won't feel good (I never do the first night. as soon as we get to dinner, I get queezy, but ONLY that first night!) I think we'd be better to do a park during the day, then have a nice dinner, swim in the pool and then get to bed at a decent hour. What time does the park close on MNSSHP night? I wanna say 6? We've done it, but I can't remember!

This place looks really nice. And convenient. And reasonably priced. I may have to keep it in the back of my mind if for some reason I cannot get things to work out the way I would like them to.

We are going to VB before for a few days and were thinking about MNSSHP if they have one on the Friday and then not sure where that night, it will be a late night so do we stay on site or drive an hour and stay near port, these are questions were still unsure of.

We are also staying the Country Inn and Suites - we'll probably have a nice relaxing dinner at Grills and a good night sleep so we can hit the ground running on Sat. morning. Somehow I think we'll have enough late nights on the cruise (and for me that means later than 9:30)

I'm in for Grills. That's my 2nd favorite place to be in Port Canaveral! Did you know they also have a great breakfast??

I would stay at the port, but we don't land until almost 11 Friday night, so I figured the Hyatt was our best bet.

How many of us are at the Hyatt that Friday??

We love Grills - it gets you in the cruise mood. The cocktails help too! We have breakfast with our room at CIS but my son loves breakfast out so we'll have to check into that!

Yeah, quality of life, I'll try to remember that. My dh is sitting on the freeway right now, only half way home after an hour! He said 94 in Minneapolis was sheer ice.
