Rather dull here actually. Did the dreaded balancing of the checkbook, yelling at the dogs who seem to be energized today, dishes, etc., etc. Darn dogs were 'fighting' over something and it turned out to be my five pound weight from underneath my bed! Dogs... Heather has been on the computer all day. Other than that, its rather quiet. Wondering if there is mail today. Probably not though.

I hear you here is quite too....DH took the kids out sledding now we are all playing on the computer.............NO mail I don't think....

I got your pm about the cookies.. I'll def. take a couple of boxes will ask the family what kind they want and will let you know. THanks again....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, the other Michaels didn't have the ship...they had one made on display, but we could not find one to make! I'll have to go out to the other Michaels....but it's 30 mins the opposite direction...not going today. Also, I TOTALLY forgot to go to Linens and Things! LOL I want a Swivel Sweeper. Have you seen the infomercial for it? The lady I sit for has one and it is AWESOME! I use it everyday after breakfast and lunch! I saw them at Walmart and they were $35, online they are $40, but I figured with my 20% off at LnT, I could get it for $35 or less. Oh well, Walmart shopping is Saturday, so I'll check with LnT before I go!

Michele, Just let me know if you cannot get the Ship for some reason. I'll grab ya one.

Last nite I was laying in bed thinking... What would I bring to represent my hometown and/or state? That I'm unsure of right now. DH suggested cotton bowls off the cotton plants.. I wasn't overly thrilled w that idea. I thought I might just pick up postcards w the St. Louis Arch on them. My office is across the street from the St. Louis Arch, so I look at it everyday... There's probably something very obvious, but I'm not thinking of it. I have a little bit of time to figure it out.

Kristin, Its darn cold here, but no snow, thank goodness. I'm just not a snow/winter person. I daydream of sandy beaches, green/blue water, and palm trees all the time. :rotfl: So have fun in your snow! I'll stay inside thank you very much! :rotfl2:

Sandy, when I think of MO, I think of St Louis, when I think of St Louis I think of ribs! LOL Those are my favorite type of ribs...with the dry rub, man my mouth is watering just thinking of it! :goodvibes But the postcards are a great idea too!!

Mmmm. That sounds really good right now. Much better than the speghetti we're planning tonite...
Now I'm thinkin' toasted raviolis or IMO's pizza. Why do we have so many food items? Not complaining though. :rotfl2: I wonder if I can bring a rub? That's something to think about too.

I have a Cajun Turkey Breast in the crock pot! It smells WONDERFUL! Maybe we'll have speghetti tomorrow night!

That sounds yummy. I get so tired of the same ole' same ole'.

Another thing I was thinking about last nite was which park are we going to go to on the 10th. We're getting in early that morning, and thought we'd kill the day at one of the parks. Right now I think its between MK and MGM. But I'm sure we'll change our minds a few times.
Is anyone else coming in early and going to the parks?

I do too. The lady I sit for had one in the crockpot one day, and it smelled SO good! She said it's very tasty, so I got one to try! She said there is also an herb one that's really good too. It's just one of those turkey breast that's boneless, so it has the netting around it. It was mixed in with the plain breast. They didn't have an herb one when we went, but I am going to look for it Saturday.

Sandy, are you guys still staying at the Hyatt that Friday night?

I have no idea what would represent Minnesota. Snow or Mosquitos????? Neither of which travel very well LOL.

Erika, you can keep the snow AND the mosquitos! I want neither! LOL

We will be flying in on Thursday night, probably doing MK on Friday. On the return, our flight goes out on Sunday, so the Saturday we dock, we'll either do MGM or Universal. The boys are leaning towards USO. If we stay at one of thier hotels, we would be able to have front of the line access, so we could do all the major attractions in one day....we'll see....

Well, I'm going to have to insist you reveal the recipe. Everyone in this house luvs turkey, so it just might become a hit, and thus a new meal! :thumbsup2

Sandy, there is no recipe! It's prepackaged that way...which is the best part! Just defrost and cook! LOL I just pulled the label from the trash...LOL what we will do for our friends!.... It is a Butterball boneless turkey breast roast. this one has a little orange banner that says Cajun Style. I think she told me the Herb one was a green banner? Not sure what I am going to fix with it? I was thinking red beans and rice, but the boys won't eat that.....sooooo.....maybe just mashed potatoes, cornbread annnnnnnnd some kind of veggie! LOL

Ha, I don't want snow or mosquitos either.

We are flying out Sunday too, but won't do Disney, as I have no current passes. We are probably going to do Kennedy Space Center or Sea World. We never leave property when we do Disney, so this will be our chance to broaden our horizons LOL. Then we are staying at the Hyatt that night too, as our flight leaves at 10 am Sunday.

Hi Erika! Yes, we're still staying at the Hyatt that Fri. nite. Its just that we're getting in so early Fri. morn (on purpose, of course) that we need to pick a park. NEED TO...:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Now Heather says Epcot or MGM. I think she's picking Epcot for me. This trip is her bday present, so I want her to choose.

How are you getting from the Hyatt to the dock? Disney or otherwise?

I have no idea. Rental car I guess. Unless we all went in a rented a giant van LOL. Think they have a partridge bus at the airport? How about you?

Oh my gosh, I'm gonna have to look for that! I'm guessing frozen foods probably? It sounds so good. We had doctored red beans and rice for lunch. That was yummy.

I'm not sure how we're getting from the Hyatt yet. I think, but am not positive yet, Disney has a shuttle from there. I guess I will ask Carol what she thinks the best thing is to do.

I had even thought of going to SeaWorld for our day, but I'm leaving it up to Heather. I haven't been to SeaWorld since 1991, and Heather has never been there. If the decision gets to hairy, I might suggest SeaWorld to her.

I can send the partdrige van to pick you all up at the airport. But remember you must be in your hippie costumes...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will fly into Sanford and rent a car for the few days. It's cheaper then flying into Orlando and using ME. Last time, we rented from Budget. Steve dropped us off with the luggage at the port, then took the car over and rode the Budget bus back to the port. He finished his check in when he got there. On the return, we ALL got on the budget bus, with the suitcases and picked up the car. It wasn't too bad, really. The boys and I "could" have stayed at the port and waited for Steve, but this took less time. Now that I am thinking about it... we did fly into Orlando on the last cruise....as Alegiant wasn't set up for us to fly in there yet, so our flight out was Saturday afternoon. We did have time to go to DTD and shop for a little before heading to the airport. We like having our own car and being able to stop for supplies or lunch along the way.

Ooh, I don't think I have those clothes anymore! Heather has a mullet wig though... Maybe I can find something in the back of DH's closet! :hippie:
