.......I thought there was a margiritta tasting??????
There is or at least there was....:confused3

......Doesn't the margarita tasting also include straight tequila? I love margaritas, but don't think I'd be grooving on the tequila part. Maybe I'm wrong???
From what I have read, they give you a couple of samples just to show you the difference in tequila, and good tequila. Just like anything else, there is cheap stuff, and there is good stuff. :rolleyes1

Hello all!
Kids were back to school today. I don't know why since this week was shot anyway! Just one less day to make up I guess.

We are going to miss you Louise! Enjoy WDW though! I understand the whole "finally tall enough to ride all the rides" syndrome. Connor went through that a few years ago! He could not WAIT to go back once he was tall enough!

Neither one of us like wine, Steve likes beer...but not me. We would both consider a Margarita tasting. That sounds like fun!

For formal wear.....I don't get out much..LOL...so I don't have a closet full of gowns and formal wear. I have my standard "little black dress" that I wore on the second cruise and a sleevless, blue tea-length dress that I wore on the first cruise. Since I have been the same Pooh-Sized gal since Connor was born 10 years ago, I don't think I am going to gain or loose too much between now and then, so either one of those dresses will be making a second showing.

As for what to wear in the dining room any other day.....we really struggled with it. Connor HATES to wear anything other then shorts and T's...even on cold and blustery days....so it's always a fight to get him to the dining room. The last cruise, we sort of "sized up" the folks that were dining at the same time as us, and decided that golf attire was okay! We showed up in Docker-type shorts, golf shirts/collared shirts and sandles, and fit in just fine. I know, the dress code is different then that, but personally, I thought we looked just fine...not sloppy, no cut offs, no wife beater t's. Even our family photos came out nice...WiTH shorts on! Now, on formal night and captain's dinner, we had on nicer clothes....but pirate night..and others...found us in shorts! We may just do this again.

Kristin, please slow down and let your body heal!!

Not much going on here this weekend!
Enjoy your weekend!!

Too bad you are not coming to CA with DH...we could have met up somewhere! That is if it's So CAL. I know what you mean about the looong flight!! I'm dreading our flight to Orlando! On top of that, we lose 3 hours
so we probably wont get there until pretty late!

I know too bad. DH is going to Palm Springs.. The long flight kills me. Oh yeah the three hours must be hard on you. What day are you going to fly in????

Palm Springs is a 2 hour drive from me!! We could have totally met up!! Oh well, we'll have to wait until the cruise.
We are flying in Friday night. We are looking into leaving here at 6:45AM w/layover and arrive in Orlando at 4Pm. We are going to stay at the port.

Kristin,
You really have to slow down.
Sounds like you are like me, no patience to recover, wanting to get back to normal quickly. You probably should call the dr.

Same here!!!!! When I broke my ankle 3 years ago and had to have surgery.....the recovery was soooooo slow and painful. I was getting very frustrated! I would try to do things and would have to slow down because my ankle was killing me. Then on top af that, my dad had a heart attack 1 month after my surgery and I had to travel to AZ. That was aweful!!

I just went to Ann Taylor.com and ordered myself a new formal gown. Just in case. I doubt highly that I would even get the ok, from my dr. to go but at least I will have a new dress for the cruise and for future events for DH's work......:cool1: :cool1:

I know it is soo hard to be patient and let the body hear...

I think I might have heard about it!! Was about the husband that lost his whole family when he was forced to the bank and his wife and 2 daughters were killed?

Yes, it ws the wife actually who they took to the bank. He is still alive he is a very well known Dr. here in CT....The daughters and wife were killed. They were on Dateline too. Not far from where we live actually. It was very scarey...It seemed like it was National News...........
