Thats pretty neat!! I thought getting all those pieces into the box was hard, now they sell them in giant plastic potato head carriers.

I know in WDW it was hard to pack them all into the box....
The kids love the potatoe heads...... Tomorrow is going to be VERY VERY VERY COLD here.....UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note, we are taking the kidlets to Niagara Falls next weekend to see the Festival of Lights, some of it is sponsored by Disney, we also are taking them to see Beauty and the Beast on stage. I can't wait. DH and I saw it years ago in Toronto, we are talking 10+ years, it hasn't been back since. I can't wait to see it again but with the kids this time. Jenna will love and Jacob is a good sport. We usually to a Disney on ice show but they are only to HSM2 this year and my kids aren't into it yet so this is a great alternative.

Yeah it is pretty cold here too. It has been snowing on and off all day and raining in between so the road and sidewalks are so slippery. We back onto the kids school and it is a non bussing school so everyone pretty much walks there so it never closes. The kids could care less though, they want to play in the snow as soon as they get home from school, dh and I just keep asking why we don't live in Florida LOL

Niagara Falls is about 1 hr and a half away, Buffalo is about 2 hours, thats why we always fly out of Buffalo, it isn't that far and so much cheaper. We are staying over night and are going into Buffalo to do some shopping (with Dollar the way it is, good shopping!!!).

I hear you. We all seem to be really fun and getting to know each other. It will be a fun cruise. This thread is much more active than my last cruise thread..

Niagra Falls sounds wonderful, I haven't been since I was a kid!

Love the pirate mascot and the playhouse!

I was gone all day yesterday, at work, then ran in the house, put a few groceries in the fridge, grabbed dd and left. Wendy's for dinner in the car and dance class, followed by a Master Piano class where she and 5 other students played for this piano whiz, with a bunch of doctorates in music and stuff. She had a little trouble getting what he was telling her to do with the pedal which frustrated her a little, but everyone was critiqued, so she did pretty well.

We got 5 inches of crappy snow on Saturday and today another 3-5!! Ack, it's going to be snowing during both rush hours today which means 90 minute drives to and from work. It's been cold here too, since the day before Thanksgiving. I take that back, it was 50 that weekend, but we had 40mph winds. Since then the high has averaged 20 or less. It's way too much snow and way to cold for this early in the season, it's going to be a longggggggggggg winter I fear!

I wish I was in Florida!!!!!

Alexa has a piano recital this weekend, then next weekend is High School Musical, the Ice Tour, we are excited!

Speaking of Pirates, anyone picking up the DVD this morning?

We had a dusting of snow last night...UGH!!!!!! The kids woke up all excited....Not me... It is freezing here today high is like 20 degrees or something crazy like that....

I have looking at the main cruise thread this morning about the summer 09 cruises. That summer it will be our 15 year anniversary and the Magic will be in the Caribbean all summer with some different stops so I just emailed Carol for some prices...DH agreed last night to do antoher cruise for our anniversary.. We love the Caribbean so this will be perfect for us.....

Got to run and get the kids dressed for school.....Will check in later........

Time to button down the hatches! We are going to get snow after Midnight tonight. They are talking 1-3 or 2-4...we are kind of on the border of both, so who knows what we'll get. but I have to say, after moving here from Cleveland, Oh.... Charleston, WV gets VERY little snow each season. This threat of snow will have people scrambling to the grocery store to buy out milk and bread. By Monday, it's suppose to be 62!! Snow does not last long here...maybe a day or 2 and that's it! Not a month or 2 like up North! I can remember several January days in the upper 60's or lower 70's! I'd still like to move further South though!

I got the Pirate movie today. Saving it for Christmas though. I bought it at Kmart because it came with a free flag. It looks really neat and will look great on the wall in the "Man Cave".

Good evening everyone..

All this talk of SNOW is making me really want to be in Florida... Have been emailing with Carol today about a summer 09 cruise. Wondering if we should do it or not for our 15th wedding anniversary or try something else????

The ports of call are a bit different for the summer 09 cruise. It is Tortola not St. Marteen...

If anyone wants to go to a GREAT FAMILY Beach in St. Marteen we went to Little Divi Bay Beach and it was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

has anyone planned out their itineraries yet for the cruise?

so far for St. Maarten we plan on either renting a car or a private tour operator to get us around. with stops to the zoo, butterfly farm, maybe shopping in Marigot then a quick stop to Maho beach so DH can watch the planes, than (thanks to Kristin's suggestion ) beach time at Divi.

and for St. Thomas we have Coral World and the sky ride and a bit of shopping on the way back to the ship.
I hope this isn't too much, but we're going there with the attitude of if we have time to do it we will if not oh well....LOL

OOH you will love Little Divi Bay Beach we loved it soo much. I think it cost us like fifteen dollars to rent an umbrella which you will need it is hot hot hot....Better than the cold we are having here now...And two lounge chairs for the afternoon.
We also ordered room service the night before and took sandwiches for the kids to the beach. Each sandwich comes with chips and we ordered some cookies tooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
