October 11-18, 2008 Eastern Magic-Parrothead Pirates in Paradise!

This is great!!! Another country music fan!!!
We just got Garth Brooks tickets!! He is doing a benefit concert here in L.A. for the fire victims. He was planning on doing one show but it sold out within minutes. Long story short, he is now doing 5 concerts in 2 days!!
We've seen Rascal Flatts too. They do put on a good show.
We've never seen Brad Paisley, but I hear he is good.

Holy smokes (no pun intended)!! I didn't know he was doing those in LA, you are so lucky!!! We saw him way back when, he was awesome. I'd love to see him tour again (so would my ds, he's a huge fan, but he retired before he was old enough to love his music yet). We saw Brad Paisley this past summer, he was incredible!!! We didn't take the kids though, and now dd has decided she's a fan, so she will be happy. Yep, huge country fans here, my absolute favorite is Sugarland!

That would be Great if you could get the kids to say a quick Hello before it starts..... I would love to be able to find a cute HM t-shirt for them to wear to the show.....I can not wait. I am a bit worried since I am having surgery on the 12th and hope that I feel ok to go. So if you see me and I look out of it know that is not how I normally look..LOL!!!!!!!!! I am going to force myself to be ok I am not missing the HM concert................

Wonder why they were able to release more tickets?????? Who cares as long as you got them...RIGHT?????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of HM shirts, I just was in Kohls the other day and saw some in the 7-10 size range in the girls' department...A bit big for my daughter, but I hardly think she will care one bit when she finds out she can wear one of those shirts tothe concert...Maybe I will bring her along shopping for it and let her know why we HAVE to have one of those shirts!

Hello, I'm in the midst of house cleaning as well, christmas shopping, etc etc etc. Just checking in, Jenna has acros and sparks tonight, so I am also busy driving back and forth. Hope everyone is well, Krisitin, hope all is well with you and I will be thinking of you with your surgery.

PS. I do not watch Desperate Housewives but I am addicted to Grey's Anatomy!!!!

Don't I wish I was in Disney today...had a bad monday (weather) blowing snow storm and they don't even close the schools. It was soooo slippery even on 4x4 I could barely move. But I made it there in one piece. If it's like this again tomorrow which it's suppose to be, my DS is not going to school, if they have a problem too bad. LOL it was just really bad.

Nice to hear from all my cruise friends...Was beginning to worry...Have been home all day trying to organize and get my life in my soon-to-be old house packed little by little. Hopefully, the bathroom will be gutted and redone by the beginning of 2008, so that means time to move to the new house is drawing nearer. Could not be at a busier time of year for all of this, but at least I am not HUGE pregnant yet and am somewhat still worth something to DH to help out.

We bought alot of stuff for the new house over the weekend, including allof our kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, vanity, countertop, lights, etc. So, work will be underway very soon and let the chaos begin!

Kritter, Sorry to say, but I caved today and could not resist telling our daughter about the Hannah Montana concert! Yes, I gave in....
We told her that we got a special email from Santa saying that he found an extra ticket to the concert and wondered if she would want to go. We had her guessing about WHO the concert was and she was getting more and more excited, even to tears in her eyes! Well, she finally guessed HM and was screeching with when we told her it was HM, and going with just Mommy and Daddy! So, the is out of the bag and she will now be bugging us on the countdown constantly until the 19th, but that is part of the excitement! We are very proud that our DS9 understood fully, as he has already been to a big concert and was mostly concerned with who was going to stay with him and DS4...

I figured this was an easier way to tell our daughter about the concert, as we will not have any tix to wrap and present to her, since they are "will call". I heard the tix from this last ticket release are all "will call" so that the scalpers cannot get a hold of them like with the original relase of tix

Hello everyone....
I wasn't at Disney today, just doing other stuff. But we are going to Disneyland a week from tomorrow. I'm looking forward to that.

This weekend is adult girls weekend up in the mountains. We are expecting rain by the weekend, so I am very excited about that because when there is rain down here there should be snow up in the mountains. I know, most of you are saying "snow, YUK" but the weather here in So. Cal. is pretty boring. Average temp is in the 60s and not alot of rain. So I get excited about snow.
My DD 15 said "that's not fair that you get to go up to the snow." She has never seen snow fall. We try, but we never seem to time it right. We usually get up there between snowfalls. I have only seen snow fall twice. I know we are missing out.

Kristin, I hope your surgery goes well.

WOW!!!!!!! I wish you had taken a picture of her face....I can not wait to tell my kids. I know Hanna will be more excited than Hope since she really wants to see High School Musical which we will be in Jan. tooo...We need to have the girls start to write to one another before the cruise......I am going to PM you my numbers for the concert......

The weather here was YUCKY!!!!!! TODAY!!!!!!!! Ice the kids loved going out to play and pick the icicles off of the deck.............

Thanks for the well wishes everyone I am not goin in till the 12th....So you'll have to put up with me for a bit longer. I only have to stay one night so that should not be tooo bad...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
