Have managed to catch up on the entire thread. There are some beautiful families from the pictures we saw. Have been too busy to get all our pictures together from our recent cruise. Will try this week sometime.

Most travel agents are going to tell you that you can't transfer it to another agency because they don't want to loose the booking. If you called disney directly I think you could explain everything and have your booking moved. Usually it requires additional paperwork but it can usually be done. I know that DU has now called but I figured this was info everyone could use.

We contacted Disney
They said because we reserved with DU, they have there own ressie number and they couldn't do anything about it.

We tried everything, and we kept hitting walls. We really wanted to go through her but it just wouldn't work. She even told us she would even work it so that when we canceled, she would be right there to try to scoop up the same rooms. We even gave her all of our info, and just when we were ready to do it, we found out there was a waiting list for early dining and we would lose it. If it was just us 4 going, we would have switched. But there are 13 of us going (3 seperates families, 5 small children) we had others to consider. So we took a vote and decided not to. She was wonderful and we will be using her again for future cruises.

CoffeeMate, who will be cruising with us on this cruise had an accident Saturday night. She was burned on her hands and feet. She has burns on her hands, between her fingers, her feet, between her toes and on the bottom of her feet. Needless to say she is in alot of pain. Would you please pray for her and send some pixie dust this way.

Prayers /\ and Pixie Dust *~*~*~* going out to CoffeeMate! My goodness! I hope the recovery time is short!! I just have to ask, how did this happen?

The lady I babysit for has given birth to her 4th baby! Ashlee arrived yesterday at 5pm weighing in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and 20" long. Small compared to her brother that was just born last year at 9 pounds 12 ounces! Everyone is doing well and will come home tomorrow!

We have not switched our cruise over, but I think Steve wants to. We just haven't talked about transfering it much. I guess we better "get our head in the game" LOL We HAVE been talking about the cruise a lot though! Looking up our room numbers to see what folks have to say, seeing what excursions there are and what is recommended. Man, how did we ever take a vacation before the internet!? We must have missed out on SO much!

At home today since Grandma has the kids, so I am going to try and get a BUNCH of stuff accomplished today...but I have to admit, being lazy feels pretty good too!

Hello everyone,

The fires here in California are the worst I have ever seen (and I've lived here my whole life.) There are fires in every direction of us. Lucky for us the closest one is about 10 or so miles away. But the sky is no longer blue. It is now brown, not to mention the ashes that are flying around. I pretty much have to stay inside because of my allergies. My kids school district has cancelled all outdoor activities. A lot of people have lost their homes. Our church camp that we go to at least twice a year is being threatened. I pray that it doesn't burn down. I love that place. The winds are finally starting to die down and we are supposed to cool off along with more moisture by this weekend. This 8% humidity is aweful!! So hopefully the worst is over.

Thank you everyone for the good wishes and prayers. It was a greese fire. I was going to fix dd and me some ff. The greese got to hot and caught on fire. The flames was growing to quickly for me to react. I didn't have enough time because it was up over the hood of my stove. The only thing I could do is run with it to the door. It spilled out onto me and the floor. My hand caught the fire and my feet caught the greese. The house caught on fire in the corner beside the door. I went back in and put out the fire. My dd was sooo brave. I am sooo proud of her. She was the one that called for help. I go to the burn unit at U.K. Friday. I am very scared. I have a 1st degree burn on my hand and my left foot. The right foot is between a 2nd to a 3rd. I can move my toes. They cut the blisters off today. It made me very sick and I almost passed out on them. But I am looking to the bright side....my daughter wasn't hurt, I have my house and I also have skin under the blisters. The Lord was with us or we couldn't have done what we did. I think he had picked me up and carried me through what I needed to do. All the prayers are helping. Thank you!

Well, for the latest on Baby #5: I went to the Dr. today and was a bit nervous when the first part of the check-up raised a question that I certainly measured to be more like 12 weeks and was calculating only being 8 weeks! They put me in the ultrasound right away, because of the suspicion that there was more than one! But, the ultrasound tech determined only one baby and I am right on target in accordance with my dates...I am 8 1/2 weeks along (even though looking more like 12-14 weeks!) and the official due date for the little ONE is June 2nd...So, sorry to those of you hoping for a twin baby fix on the cruise...It will only be a single baby fix! The thought of #5 and #6 was on my mind there for a bit earlier! One healthy baby will do us just fine!

We are back from the Boardwalk, wonderful hot weather last week! Now I'm back at home, yuck, can't I just live at the Boardwalk? Spent 2 fun days with Torismom and family, and now can't wait for the cruise to hang out and relax for a week!

Mommyrom, Congrats on baby, again!!! I have not seen my new charge yet. She should be coming home this evening. I had thought about going to the hospital to see her, but I figured I would let them have family time and I'll be taking over soon enough! I think she is going to use me while she is on maternity leave. I see her working by next week even! Thankfully, she can work from home.

Well, just found out that part of our church camp was damaged in the fire. I'm not sure how bad. We are still waiting. They are not letting anyone up there yet. The fire is still out of control. I hope it's not too bad, we're supposed to go up there in December for a girls weekend.

We have had 2 more canadian familes (friends of ours) book on the cruise with us. Very exciting to be travelling in group this time. We'll have to get them onto the disboards in the near future.

Unfortunately not until 2009 . We only get 1 trip per year, and the cruise is next years trip.
