Any college football fans. Both Shawn and I are graduates of the University of Oregon. He an undergraduate degree and I my graduate degree. Needless to say we are BIG Oregon Duck fans! We have the hated USC Trojans on Saturday.

I just saw pictures of one of the buildings at our church camp. It was completely destroyed. It's very heartbreaking seeing the place I have visited so many times a pile of ashes. I don't know yet the fate of the rest of the camp.

Please pray for those hundreds of people who have lost their homes. And for the thousands who cannot return to their homes for a long time.

Everyone in the range of the fire has our prayers as do their families where ever they may live. I am so angry to hear that some of fires were set. I couldn't agree more! The world would be a much better place if people would just "consider the other guy" before doing anything that may cause harm. Our prayers go out to all who are affected by the fires.

Well, this week Sherri and I were finally able to book our Magic cruise! We just returned from the Caribbean, and are ready to go back! The kids are ready to go right now!

Only 351 more wake-ups to go!

I hope my boys don't find this thread! LOL I am SO DANG Excited!!! We started Christmas Shopping yesterday! I have been on the hunt for a Wii. They are few and far between!! Well, yesterday, Target had them in the ad. As I was leaving to take Connor to Sunday School, I told Steve, "Are you going to look at the sale papers today?" and winked. He said, "Okay. Which ones should I look at?" I threw him the Target and Toys R Us and went out the door. Now, it only takes "maybe" 15 mins to get to church AND Back. By the time I returned, Steve had called Target, found they had them and was showered and getting dressed! LOL He then flew down the interstate and GOT ONE!!!! YEAH!! Steve doesn't normally go to church with us, so that wasn't unusual. Connor didn't even know his Dad left the house since he was gone and back while Connor was gone, and Colton, I think, thought Steve had gone to work! LOL Sometimes, they can be so naive.

Congrats on your score!!! I actually got up to go to Circuit City last year at 3 am to get mine. I was surprised though, I was at Target this morning and they still had one in the case. I have seen them there 3 or 4 times in the last few months, never first thing on a Monday before.

We actually had our TorT last night! Since we are close to what is referred to as "The Bible Belt", and there are a LOT of activities that happen on Wednesday nights at the churchs. That means you would have people deciding on going to church or TorT, so they just switched it a day! Not a big deal! We had a great night for it! It was a bit cool, but tolerable, no rain and since we haven't changed time yet, it was still light for the first hour! I keep track of how many kids we have each year. This year was the most we've had since 2001. I was completely out of popcorn, I turned out the lights and still had 2 groups of kids knocking! The kids had fun! Now I need to find a way to get rid of all the candy we have....and NOT let it get to my hips!

Took advantage of the Walmart Secret In Store Specials today! Got the HD-DVD player for $98! We've seen the same player online for $300+! Another SCORE for us! The DVD's they had in HD for $14 were ones we never heard of. We did get Top Gun off the regular shelf. We love that movie and should be great to watch again in HD!

Taking Connor to a Birthday Party tonight and while he is there, we are meeting friends for dinner!

Hello Guys!

I thought I posted last night, but I must have done something wrong. I booked this cruise for DD and myself. It will be her birthday gift from me. Her birthday isn't until Nov 11th, but his week is Fall Break at school. This will be our second Disney Cruise. We were on the Sept 2006 Double Dip Cruise. Were any of you on the Magic with us?

I have read through a few of the posts. Everyone seems really nice. I can't wait to get to know everyone. It's probably too early, but has anyone planned anything for us to do as a group? On the cruise last year, we did a lot of fun things. We had bracelets made before we sailed with the name and cruise date on them. We had a meet on the ship right before the Sail Away Party. Several people brought unexpected gifts for everyone. Nothing really expensive, but fun. All the women meet for a Palo Brunch one day. We played a door tag game, but I never did get tagged. It was so much fun when we would run into a fellow Diser on the ship.

I know that it's still a long way off, but DD and I are already excited!!!!!!!

Where is everyone? I guess you all have plans on Friday nights. I have a sick DD, so I am stuck at home tonight. I am just so anxious to get to know everyone.
