Hi and Welcome to all of the new comers!!

I wanted to share some photos of our WDW trip. I do not want to bore you all with too many so I will try and keep it brief..LOL!!!

I will give you just a quick summary of our trip.

We are picked up on Thurs. morning at 5:00 am. My parents thought it would be fun for the kids to ride in a limo to the airport plus it was more cost effective than parking two cars there for ten days.
On the way to the airport Hope is telling me she has a tummy ache. I keep telling her your ok just hungry. Then she turns to me and throws up all down my shirt. She got car sick for the first time in her life. It was not a pleasant way to start off the trip...LOL!!!!

We had a great two bedroom place at SSR. It was soo nice to be there and it really does feel like home to us...

Our first day there we went to MK. The kdis refused to have their picture taken so here is one of Bruce and I.

Then lunch at Cinderella's Castle. The kids faces are priceless..

We will be going on this cruise as well! Our 1st was in May this year, Wonder 4 day and we were part of a conference. We had so much fun that we decided we needed to go on a cruise that was JUST for fun! Our 2 boys will 14 and nearly 12 at the time of sailing. They are SO looking forward to it, as is DH as he had a nasty cold on the Wonder cruise AND had to do some child care (our youngest has special needs) while I attended conference sessions.

Counting down!!!

Fantastic pics, you're girls are so cute! I totally know about the car sick, Alexa used to throw up every time we left Disney, on the way back to the airport. Literally, every time. It seems she is done with that, I don't think she's done it the last 2 years. And one year my son, who NEVER gets motion sick of any kind, threw up on the way to the resort from the plane!!! Luckily, he dozed off in the car, and by the time he woke up when we were pulling into the Boardwalk he was fine.

Welcome Heidi,

Thanks ErikaSorry to hear that about your daughter..

Today is my 35th b-day and DH just came in with a new laptop so now I can post more..LOL!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTEN!

party: :bday:

Even though it is not my birthday, I feel as though I got a surprise today too! This morning when I got up, I quickly discovered that my preggers tummy has popped already!!! :scared1:  I am barely two months and there it is! I went to see DH at work this afternoon and he was in shock...All he said was that there better not be more than one...Wouldn't that be just our luck, #5 and #6!!! :scared1: :scared1:

Any-Who...Happy wishes to you again, Kristen!!! Loved your pictures so far...Looking forward to our first trip "back home" to SSR...Thinking about early February...We'll see~ ~ ~

My sister had twins. Good luck. Since this is number five I suspect it is normal to POP just a little sooner. As soon as you have a count let us know. I am expected a new grand baby on May 5th. Hoping that it is only one as well. Lois

Hello, All!

I've been lurking around this board off and on for a couple of weeks now -- yes, it took me that long to read all of the posts on this thread!

:yay: My DBF & I booked this cruise about three weeks ago and I am so excited!!

Over this past Labor Day we went on a last minute vacation to WDW -- something I've wanted to do for the longest time but DBF didn't want to (now I know why). After 4 nights/5 days at WDW, I am now obsessed with the Mouse ::MickeyMo !

Shortly after our trip, DBF asked me what I wanted to do next year for my 40th bday :cake:. Since I had taken him to London for his 40th bday nearly 5 years ago, I figured it was my turn to ask for a big trip. So I told him I wanted to go on a Disney cruise!!!!!

So here we are... with no kids... booked on a Disney cruise!! Our friends think we are crazy but I don't care! I usually get very sad and depressed each year right around my bday and I was determined to have something fun to look forward to for my 40th bday celebration. BTW... my 39th bday is next Monday the 15th and I'm so distracted with planning and research for the cruise that I haven't had time to be sad about my bday this year!

I've only cruised once before and DBF has never cruised. I had an awful experience in Nov 2001 on RCCL. Can't blame the cruise line entirely, but can blame Mother Nature for sending Category 4 Hurricane Michelle. RCCL decided to sail anyway but re-routed our Western Caribbean cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, but there was no escaping the waves which were washing up on upper level decks. It was awful. Surely this couldn't ever happen to me again!

Although I've already been on an Eastern Caribbean cruise, we've booked this cruise anyway as my bday falls within the middle of the trip. I am SO looking forward to having an awesome time on the Magic and celebrating my 40th with the Mouse!! :wizard:

I would love hearing about your kids especially your youngest. I work with folks with a number of developmental disbilities. I love my job and all the people I get to work with. They keep me on my toes and remind me to smell the roses. They are some of the most special people in the world and I learn from them each and every day.

Welcome, I look forward to getting to know you. Lois

Welcome to all the new cruisers!! We are going to have to make sure our list is updated! I can't wait to meet everyone!

Kristin, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! What a great gift you received!! I loved your trip photos! You'll have to tell us which of the girls is which though! I can see a difference in them, so I might actually be able to tell them apart!

Mommyrom...thought of you yesterday. One of the doctors had his babies birth announcement in the paper. They too, were on pregnancy #5, but had twin boys! Maybe you're going to match that with twin girls?? J/K Does this mean I can get my baby-fix while on board??

Well, it was bound to happen. Saturday I woke up with a sore throat. Today, I still have it and a fever of 101. I called my Dr/neighbor/friend and hopefully, he'll just call in an RX for me and I won't have to go into the office. I don't mind going, it's just one less thing I would have to do today! I am sure I have strep from Colton. We shared a Pumpkin Spice Chai the Saturday before he was diagnosed.

I wish this cruise was 3 days instead of one YEAR and 3 days!
Have a MAGICal day!!

Welcome to all the new cruisers!!
So glad you're joining us!

Happy Belated Birthday Kristin!!!! :bday:
Sounds like you had a nice one!!
