Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I've been missing everything, I've been so darn busy trying to adjust to my new job, I haven't been able to come here. Anyone know of a good paying flexible job??? LOL!

Love all the Star Wars pictures, I would love to be able to go then, my kids love Star Wars, but May is not good for us to vacation.

Michelle, your dream sounds totally wonderful!!!! I'm jealous!

My kids are gone this week with my dad, I miss them when they leave.

My dd told my father in laws wife at dinner on Saturday, about our cruise. They didn't know yet. She thought that sounded great, and that perhaps they should go too. So, we may be adding another cabin to our group rate. She hadn't talked to FIL yet, so we'll see.

Hopefully I will be back here again soon, and that work gets better. Have a great night everyone.

We were last at WDW Spring 2005. The middle DS10 was almost 7 he rode in the stroller with then DS2. He has already asked if he can ride in one when we go in Oct! At 75 lbs, no. With that much walking, forget pride!

That is too funny. I guess when my kids are ten I will have to tell them no more stroller....

Same job, different company. I am a loan processor for a mortgage company, and the loan officers I work for switched companies. It's not going well!

My FIL just called, and didn't mention the cruise, so I guess she didn't mention it to him yet. I made sure they are aware that we have good friends going also (Hi Jenn!!!) so they'd have to share our time and hang out with friends too.

My DH and i just booked a 3 night on RCCL Soverign of the Seas. We wanted to do something for my 40th b-day next month. (other than diet, gotta look good for the milestones)
I'm a little nervous about it. I hope DCL doesn't have us to spoiled. I also hope that it being a 3 day weekend trip that there is too much drinking. (Not that I don't plan on trying a mojito in Bolero's)
Has anybody ever done a cruise like this? We have points to stay at the Hilton and its only a 6 hour drive, so its cheap. I'm hoping for the price we will think its worth it. Heck as cheap as it is, we don't really have to count it as a vacation!?

My best friend and I have done a 4 nighter on Soverign of the Seas. It was actually my first cruise to see if I could handle cruising before our DCL cruise.You will enjoy yourself a lot but it's not Disney. Are you going to their private island or a port? You will have a great time. The mojitos at Bolore's are great. Dont miss the chocolate buffet.

A close friend and I are leaving thursday to sail Carnival on the Inspiration. I have never sailed with carinal so we will see how it is. We have two sea days and are going to cozumel.

You'll have a great time. Welcome to 40. I turned 40 last November, but it sounds like you are going to have a much better 40th birthday.

We are going on the Manarch of the Seas here on the west coast for a three nighter. We are just so excited about our DCL we couldn't wait that long, so we decided to do this short cruise to pacify us. I have a feeling it will make it worse. Instead of pacifying us it will probably make more excited about it.

We are officially booked for this cruise having switched our cruise dates. Still have a lot of catching up to do with the thread, but I'll be able to do that after i come home from the hospital later this week.

But since i haven't caught up I'll ask if we have an offical keeper of the list. I know Kritter is doing the website but if there is no listkeeper. I'll do it if yall want. I'll have 6 weeks downtime to get it organized anyway when I come home.

I promise I'll be around quite a bit after my surgery. So just let me know.

Wow...looks like we got a few more folks to join this cruise!! Welcome newcomers!!!

I feel like I have been away for so long (well...I have...since May!!).

Anyway....I guess everyone's kids are out of school by now and summer fun begins!!!....our DD19 is doing a summer internship at a Public Relations firm in NYC and loves it!!! Too bad it is not a paid internship...the contacts she is making better pay off in the future!!!LOL!!!

Anyway...one of her assignments at the internship was to model a handbag and shirt on Fox 5's Good Day New York Show!!!

Here is a link in case anyone is interested in watching....it was on last Wednesday morning. Our DD is the one modeling the black bag and the white shirt (she is the last model to go on). The other girls are some of the interns she works with!! She was very excited but very nervous!!! When the site loads just hit the play button...an advert starts first then the segment on fashion.

Our other two kids (DD23 and DS22) are very busy with their jobs as well (DD22 got to go to the shore for the week with the family she nannys for) but I know she will be working her butt off!

I'll be happy to keep a list for us. You cam all discuss where/how you want it over the next couple of days. I leave for the hospital in a couple of hours and will not be home until Thursday night. My next post here may not be till early next week depending on how i feel. But it won't be too far away.

In the meantime anybody who needs to go this list should PM or email me with the info you want posted. I'll keep track of as much or as little info as you like such as stateroom numbers, dining rotations etc.

I would love it if they all could....now that our son is 22 I don't know if he would still want to (he liked the nightlife on Carnival) and our DD23 is going to be a teacher so the time of year is no good for her....our DD19 will still be in college but she may be able to swing it if her classload is not too bad...we just have to wait and see!!! I hope so!!!
