Welcome SoccrMom. We are so glad you are joining us. I'm a newbie also. This is going to be our very first Disney cruise. We are totally looking forward to it. I'm convinced we wil be just as hooked as everyone else. Can't wait!

Welcome SoccrMom. We also just got off our first Disney cruise and rebooked while onboard. Like you, this will be our first 7 day cruise, and second DCL cruise (we sailed on Carnival for our honeymoon in '91). My youngest DS will be 10 when we sail again (oldest will be 13). I can't wait for Oct. of 08 to get here!

Hello everyone! Sorry it's taken me so long to get back on here! BUT, the wash is caught up and the suitcases are in storage again! Since the family I babysit for are in WDW this week, I am trying to get as much stuff done as I can. It's almost like having another weeks vacation!

WELCOME to all the new Cruisers!!! I can't wait to get to know you all better!

Our trip to WDW...

WE WON A DREAM!....we had only gone back to the MK on Saturday...our last day...because the boys wanted to ride Splash. And Colton wanted to see The FantasyLand WoodWind Society...which ended up not performing that day. We rode Splash and took the train back to Main Street so we could get back to Pop and shower and rest before dinner at Hollywood and Vine. (keep in mind, we were at Animal Kingdom at 8am for EMH, then hopped to MK) So, as the train got into the station, our seats were right at the exit of the station. I was the first one off the train, and as I hit that exit door, I look down the ramp and see 4 Dream Team Members standing there! I looked back to be sure that my family was right behind me. I smiled at Steve and he just looked at me. THEN he saw them! The one member said, "Come and down and see my friends! You've won one of Disney's Millions Dreams!" We were all excited! Then they started to tell us to come back at 11pm, Meet in Tomorrowland, etc. In the excitement, we heard 100 friends, we thought only 100 people would be in the park that night...They must have said a few hundred friends. Anyway, I asked that night and was told, that they handed out 3500 bands for that night. We estimated no more the 1000 people were there! IT WAS SO AWESOME!!! We met at 11pm, got a Dreams Come True Button. There was a dance party with a DJ from 11 to 1130, then we had one hour to ride whatever we wanted! The only things that were not open were Haunted Mansion...rehab...and the hall of presidents and the paddlewheel boat. We took off from Tomorrowland and headed to Adventureland....we were the first ones on Pirates of the Caribbean. Raced over to Big Thunder Mountain, then to Splash Mountain. Raced on back over to Tomorrowland and were the last family to ride Space Mountain! All in one hour! We were moving as fast as our short little pooh sized legs could carry us! LOL I haven't had a chance to upload the photos from our camera, but we took a bunch as we were leaving....at nearly 2 am...of a nearly empty Magic Kingdom! It was just amazing! We were SO dang tired on Sunday though! We had been up at 6am to be at AK at 8 and didn't get to bed until almost 230 the next morning! The boys were right with us and never missed a beat! I think the midday shower/change of clothes might have helped us all....as well as the adreneline rush of winning! It was a WONDERFUL way to end our trip!

I better start thinking about dinner. I hope this finds you all happy and healthy!

I am proably a few pages behind on the thread. We just returned from 2 weeks out of town. We spent a week in Gatlinburg and it was wonderful as always.

Just joined Disboards. Glad to see others going on the same cruise as us. Hoping to meet you all. We just return from the 5/26 Med sailing.

We have 3 DS who will be going with us ages 4,6,9 (at time of cruise).
My parents, brother and his girlfriend will also be travelling with us (this will be their 1st Disney cruise).

This will be our 6th.

Michelle, I was thrilled to hear your 'dream' experience! Other than the Dream Fast Pass tickets, a week at the 'World' and a week at Disneyland and this is the first real dream I've heard of! How fun that your family got that experience! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures, too!

I'm busy with 2 kindergarten graduations this upcoming week and getting our kids from camp to camp to camp! No rest for the weary!

It's REALLY hot here in Northern Nevada (95+ all week). I hope it's cooler where you are at!

We were at MGM during Star Wars weekend, but as I am not a big fan of the rain or crowds, we skipped most of the character pictures and, I hate to say it, but left the park early. My ds7 tends to be a wanderer and makes me really nervous that he may just disappear in the crowds.

Today the kids graduated preschool it was cute. I will post a picture. I just do not want to keep boring you all with more and more pics..LOL!!!!!!!!

did not cry I was surprised I did not. Got a little sad. But am excited for them to start Kinder.

I know I brought my stroller for my kids and it stressed me out when they wanted to get out and walk around. They do not want a stroller for when we go in Sept. But they complain after only walking a short bit.....

We were last at WDW Spring 2005. The middle DS10 was almost 7 he rode in the stroller with then DS2. He has already asked if he can ride in one when we go in Oct! At 75 lbs, no. With that much walking, forget pride!
