If it is any consolation we took all three of our kids out of school for a week each and every year they were in school, including high school. They are no worse for wear and all are doing great....youngest DD is in first year of College, middle child DS graduated college and is now an NYPD police officer and oldest DD graduated college and is working full time and attending grad school.

I would not worry about him missing a week of school in 10th grade unless he feels he will have a hard time. All my kids were good about getting work ahead of time or making it up afterwards. Good luck!!

Great too hear MJ.. I think you just made me feel soo much better about pulling the kids out of school...

You must be very proud of all of your children. They all sound like they have done so well...

I processed a request for an invitation to be sent your way from that website I mentioned earlier...Good luck shopping! Talking about shopping deals...I just bought my DS3 a black tux suitcoat at the local Good Will for $4.00 ..That'll do for the formal night next year, huh? (On second thought, I am really glad I found it because I had just come from the tux rental store and paid over $100 for my DS16's Junior Prom this month!)

That is so cool that you are going to NYC! You'll be wearing lime green to the show right? And a Parrothead Hat? I went to NYC last summer with my sister and we ended up getting to see KC & Sunshine Band on The Today Show. Had lots of girls' day out fun!

We own at BWV and SSR. I would really love AK but we cannot do it right now. Also, it is hard to justify more points when we live close enough for day trips. AK is my fav resort though.

I am glad to hear you are feeling better from your surgery.

To whoever had the incredible photo...AWESOME!! Loved it.We dress the same in the parks to. Most of the time my dh will agree. I travel with my best friend alot. We do yearly trips to Disney together and it is so much easier keeping up with 5 kids when they are dressed the same.

We are pretty ,uch in the low 90's everyday and are dealing with a smoke haze from wildfires. It has really aggravated my dd's asthma and ds had a flare up of croup. Dh wanted to take him to the er on Sunday night. It was awful.

May keeps getting busier and busier for me. If every month until the cruise goes like this one.. It will be here before I know it. I really need a passporter to start working on my clothing issues and about our itineary. LOL

My brother and his wife just bought for the first time at AK they can not wait to go and stay... We just added more at SSR.. It is soo addicting and makes you want to add more and more all of the time..>LOL!!!!!

May always seems to be a busy month and it seems to fly by too...

I wish the heat and humidity would come here soon.. We are anxioulsy awaiting the warmth so we can open up our pool.....

Our weather is finally spring like for good I think. It was in the 80's over the weekend, and back to the upper 60's now, but sunny and beautiful, so I'll take it!

I second the Lava cake got the recipe on the last cruise if anyone wants it...


Favorite restaurant would have to be Luminere's.. Love the atmosphere plus the food.....THis is where I had one of every dessert one night...LOL!!!

Shades of Green is where will stay this year. My DFIL is retired military. The rates & location are great. The rooms are large w/ a frig!

The Buzz Lightyear ride in MK is my fav!
