I know those of you with snow get tired of it, so could you PLEASE send some our way this year! My boys don't even REMEMBER what snow is! They will be 10 next month, and have never really been able to play in it!
I would love to have a few inches this year! Although my DH would not wish that! He works for a dairy company and for some reason, everyone just desperately needs a gallon of milk when it snows! So, he gets extra busy! (good and bad!)

We went for 3 nights, 4 days and we had enough to do each day we were there. The kids made shell bags, decorated aprons (and baked), decorated umbrellas, make necklaces, went to an unbirthday party, went to a camp fire, pin trading, we played ping pong and shuffleboard, swam at the pool and beach, made sand castles, they had a pool side DJ, there were so many activities for them to do. You have to stay with them though and there is a nominal fee. I remember you said you got on the chair swap, definately a good idea as there are shovels, pails and boogie boards as well. The restaurant is nice as well. Depending on when you go, they have the whole sea turtle thing going on, we weren't there during that time. When we were there, it was very quiet, not busy at all. Once the weekend came it picked up though.

It sounds like a ton of FUN!!! I can start my day by day booking tomorrow. Wish me luck. It seems like it is a very poplular place to book to go too...??????

Wow - I'm behind too! I'll gladly send you the stuff we're getting right now. Ugh. Sleet/snow. I'd be happy if I never saw ice/sleet/snow ever again. It took me twice as long to get home from work this evening... Winter is here. I want sunshine and sand and palm trees........

Thanks! My boys wanted to watch it over again tonight and it got stuck and kept saying "Merry Christmas from the Collins Family!" over and over and over!!!

You know, I really don't know how you guys learn to drive in that stuff! If I ever have to move up north, I guess I will just be stuck in my house all winter! I could NEVER navigate the ice/sleet stuff!

You kind of get used to it...plus it helps alot if your vehicle has 4x4 (it's actually fun) LOL. Where I grew up, we would get about 6 feet of snow every winter.

Well it was mostly gone this morning! They always say around here, "If you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes..." But when it is 'bad' I just put my Jeep in four-wheel-drive and go slow - and pray the idiot without 4X4 going 60 mph doesn't hit you!

Winter 'storms' off and on for the next five days here... Again, I repeat, "I HATE WINTER!" (must go into my zone... sand, waves, palm trees... )

In Minnesota it's the opposite, it's the idiot's in the 4x4's that are driving too fast. I have all wheel drive and drive like a tortoise in this dang weather! Today was normal for change, it was refreshing!
