THe coloring sounds nice. Was it hard to do the stipe effect??
What exactly is the coloring like???!!!!

Both DS rooms have stripes. It works well, you just need time. We used a laser level do do everything. You need to prep the walls with TSP and there is a lot of measuring and taping. The actual painting was quite easy lol

If I was you I would pick a darker colour for your bedroom you wont regret it!! it makes it very cozy!!

It was tricky, my dh is a perfectionist so when he taped off the stripes they had to be even and straight, which I appreciated. You paint the whole room with your desired colour, then tape and paint with the glaze every other stripe, let dry and take the tape off. I am a taupe/neutral kind of girl so my house follows that and then I try to use bolder colours in accessories.

we couldn't go without our fire pit and the kids LOVE it in the summer when we roast marshmallows LOL

Nothing like making smores. We are actually not allowed to have a fire pit but thankfully no one has complained, half the time all the neighbours are with us so no one complains and of course we are very careful,

beige carpet is a good choice, it's neutral and will go with everything.
