I dont' understand why you can't get the rotel and the shoepeg... try to frozen food section for the shoepeg... may be some there. It's just a smaller and sweeter type of corn.

Allen has missed the snow he's been wanting all winter... I know you folks in the frozen tundra think we're crazy... but we got two inches... it's bootiful!!!!!! It rained for several hours before it snowed... so ice on roads under it... interstates are treacherous... We don't have the equipment to clean the roads here as we only get something like this every 4-5 years.

2 inches of snow? Geesh that's what fell on the truck at every red light!!! The 4X4 button on the dash is my best friend, we may as well be living in a snowglobe but for my DW sanity I hope this is the last of it.

Just checking in Michelle is getting our stuff ready for Niagara Falls. Were heading off tomorrow for our test travel run with baby Rebecca (now 6 weeks). Were hoping she does well in hotels. If not we have a problem.
Have I mentioned before how much I hate snow. It has been snowing here for about 24hrs now. I have shovelled (well blown) about a foot this morning and I'm going to have to go out and do it again. Where is spring?
Hope all that are travelling during the March are keeping safe.

Alex are you driving or snowshoeing there? This is wicked, talk about mother nature giving us a last hurrah. I love the compass site for webcam views of the 401 and QEW but ugh, it's as ugly there as it is here.

Weeeeeee Whhhaaaaaaaa. Omph. My belly is FULL. I had a bowl of chili for lunch and a bowl for dinner. Even had 2 slices of beer bread. Took a picnic dinner of chili to Steve at work. Usually, he waits until he gets home to eat, but since it's snowing and business is slow, he asked if I would bring it up to him.
The boys have a birthday party to go to at 8. Late in my book, but we'll still go.
It's still snowing, but we've only got about 3 inches.

Just watched the 6 oclock news and they were saying there has already been 700 accidents reported. Your right this is absolutely crazy! Thank goodness we don't check in until tomorrow. Niagara is suppose to get up to 50cm. I gonna have Santa and Rudolph take us..LOL I'm things your way are just the same. Good TV watching night!

Oh thank you so much Michele. Especially the talk with Rebecca. So far she's not a very winey baby. Only when she's hungry, needs changing or tired. (pretty well the same as me)
We figured we'd start her young. She'll be an allstar traveller by Oct.

Hey Y'all...3 words....IT AIN'T DISNEY!!!!!!! We have truly been spoiled! I'll catch up later, the internet is to expensive to try to keep up with y'all. Anyway, we are between Haiti and Aruba. Will be in Aruba at 7am Sunday. They have card readers at the computers, so I might try to send a picture to someone and they can post it. I don't want to spend to much time trying to post pictures. I just got cold chills watching the Weather Channel...and not because of the SNOW they are predicting! Steve was scheduled to work on the other side of Charleston today. He would have to leave at about 8am for the 45 mins commute. When he got home last night, he found out just a few minutes before closing, that his partner had taken today off for vacation. Instead of Steve driving the 45 mins across town, he called his boss and told him he was staying at his store...which is 1 mile from our home. Apparently, the bridge that crosses over the Kanawha River was ice covered and very dangerous! I just sat and watched cars, trucks and tractor trailors all spinning and smashing thier way across the bridge. Had Steve went to the other store, HE would have been on that bridge!! TWC then reported that they closed the bridge this morning. I don't even know if it's reopened as of yet! I would "think" so, but who knows! Call it fate, call it guardian angels, call it luck...whatever, I am just thankful he was not out on those roads this morning!

oh my gosh!!!!!!! thank goodness he did not go!!!!!!!! maybe he had a gut feeling something bad would of happened!

I think we're being snowed in tonight! I am sooooooooo sick of this snow!!! now I just have to go have a little chat with that groundhog who said we're having an early spring!! we have at least one foot of snow that fell today so far and it's still snowing hard....

it's still snowing hard here and I think we're well over a foot now. I not sure where to pile it anymore. It seem the east coast is getting it.

Well it's official, all our steps have dissapeared under the snow drifts. To make matters worse the plow came by and shoved about 3 feet of snow in our driveway. We planned on taking the kids to the sugar bush tomorrow to enjoy some pancakes and fresh maple syrup but at this rate we will be met with a 6 foot wall of snow when we open the door since we are expecting another 30 centimeters of snow tonight. When is the cruise again??? LOL
