Good morning Kristin. Wish him happy birthday from us. This is the best I can do since I can't top Michelle's happy birthday song LOLGood Morning all. Had a HUGE breakfast and gave Bruce's Birthday gifts. The kids are very excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Y'all...3 words....IT AIN'T DISNEY!!!!!!! We have truly been spoiled! I'll catch up later, the internet is to expensive to try to keep up with y'all. Anyway, we are between Haiti and Aruba. Will be in Aruba at 7am Sunday. They have card readers at the computers, so I might try to send a picture to someone and they can post it. I don't want to spend to much time trying to post pictures. More later,
Allen
All this talk of massages and tubby time....very relaxing. Although, I can't do the tubby time.....It starts all fine and then I start thinking of me, sitting in my own scum, and it just heebs me out! Can't do it. Have to have a shower.Just me, I guess. I had a massage when we were on the last cruise. It was HEAVENLY...until the sales pitch. oh well, that's their job. I peruse the budget board, but I guess I missed that deal! We don't have a Walgreens here, yet, so the deal would have been hard to do. Walgreens just bought a piece of property, so it won't be long until they start building.
Heidi, how are you fixin' the corned beef? Are you going to use the recipe I submitted? I have a corned beef I need to fix too. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow too!
Off to get my shower and to sort Carnival Games....see what we have and what we need! Later!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR BRUCE AND KRISTA'S SON!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOUUUUUUU!!!!!
The full recipe wasn't too bad here but we did keep out a few ingrediants the stores and government have decided us Canadians do not need. Actually I am just making this but had to think of a reason why Rotel and shoepeg corn doesn't exhist here. Anyways we also bought a second bigger crockpot. All I need now is a second freezer to make a triple sized batched LOL
he is trying to hypnotize the cat right now, with a piece of lego hanging by a string.![]()
have a good day all!
Man, If I didn't know better, I'd say we gave birth to the SAME kid! This morning was a morning filled withsomething on the Military Channel about F18 SuperJets, Future Weapons, How to Catch a Thief and Mythbusters. Cleaning his room sounds like an EXCELLENT idea!![]()
Kids! He is practicing piano now, they have a recital on may 1 and he is supposed to have his pieces memorized by then! He will be doing a Star wars song AND one of my favorites, an Ode to Joy!
No, he never did get the cat hypnotized, though he does have her following him around EVERYWHERE today, as he has not fed her yet! LOL!
he is well trained on room cleaning... LOVES going to the bookmobile so for him its great incentive. Kaj, not so much... we have planty to read in the house so he is never bored enough to want to go. He did manage to get his room cleaned last night though so he could GO camping this morning! Mean old mom and dad said if it wasnt clean he couldnt go, AND since Sean wont be here tonight he would have to stay IN HIS ROOM all weekend so I could have my kid free weekend. Funny how thats enough to convince him to work!
Catch ya later... room is DONE and I need to get dressed so we can head out!
Call it fate, call it guardian angels, call it luck...whatever, I am just thankful he was not out on those roads this morning!
I just got cold chills watching the Weather Channel...and not because of the SNOW they are predicting! Steve was scheduled to work on the other side of Charleston today. He would have to leave at about 8am for the 45 mins commute. When he got home last night, he found out just a few minutes before closing, that his partner had taken today off for vacation. Instead of Steve driving the 45 mins across town, he called his boss and told him he was staying at his store...which is 1 mile from our home. Apparently, the bridge that crosses over the Kanawha River was ice covered and very dangerous! I just sat and watched cars, trucks and tractor trailors all spinning and smashing thier way across the bridge. Had Steve went to the other store, HE would have been on that bridge!! TWC then reported that they closed the bridge this morning. I don't even know if it's reopened as of yet! I would "think" so, but who knows! Call it fate, call it guardian angels, call it luck...whatever, I am just thankful he was not out on those roads this morning!
Yikes! Totally a blessing indeed...
we had an experience like that many years ago. Does anyone here remember the Loma Prieta earthquake? Brian usually drove to work via that highway that collapsed, and would have been on it that day, except for some reason he decided to take the bus instead. He couldn't even remember why he took the bus, which had him 1/2 mile from the freeway when it went down. SO thankful for your DH and mine!
