Kristin... how is the respiratory gunk doing... that is what stopped my surgery cold turkey... I'm better now and will talk to the ortho next week to see when we'll reschedule.

I brought a little spring into the house today... some beautiful yellow daffodills! It's about 58 here today and 70 tomorrow... however they are saying a chance of snow again by Tuesday... that's what's got everyone sick here.

It, is better today. When do you think he will reschedule it for??

I made a loaf of the beer bread this afternoon and enjoyed a warm piece of it with some red pepper jelly on it... Yummo! I have a pork tenderloin in the oven with a rub and the brown sugar and guiness beer on it... since I can't have the corned beef. It does smell very good.

It will probably be near the end of March... I want to have it at a hospital in Nashville (well Hermitage), instead of here... but if it will be toooooo long, I'll settle for having it here. The hospital here is only about 4 blocks from our house, but I like the facilities in Hermitage much better and it's only about 20 min from here.

trust me it does not happen very often, but this morning the kids were quiet so I slept. Usually they are loud, or fighting so I can't sleep in LOL can't wait until they are teenagers who sleep all day long! paybacks will be fun LOL

Hey y'all, we have a friend who has been a Mickey nut for years She has recently decided to redecorate her house and is dispensing with all of her Mickey stuff!! I can't believe it either!!! Anyway, she is giving away all her Mickey stuff. We have relieved her of her Christmas ornaments and a few other things. She has several framed pictures to give away. So DW took pictures of the pictures, and some other things and I have put them on my picturetrail page. You pay the shipping, and it's yours! Not a bad deal, huh?? If you see something you want, let me know and we will decide on a coarse of action.

ok seriously everyone. My take on the chilli...I could eat it everyday. And there is enough left that I will eat it everyday for lunch next week! As for the beer bread...OMG! I don't understand why everyone wants to eat it for dinner because it reminds me of pound cake and should have maple syrop, fresh fruits and a side of vanilla ice cream. I can't wait to have another slice but with 2 bowls and 2 slices there is no room in my belly right now.

I have a torn rotator cuff, a bone spur pressing on the rotator cuff and a tear in the labrel muscle (not sure about the spelling) but in a bit of pain, so hope to get it fixed soon.
