GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!
I hope you all have a better day then us! I have one boy pukin' and one boy poopin'! UGH! At least they are old enough to take care of business themselves, I just follow up with the bleach!

I have the chocolates packaged and ready to go to the postoffice! :thumbsup2 The boys were NOT involved with the packaging of the chocolates and were on another floor of the house, so I really think they are safe from germs!

Steve put the cabash on my park hpping. He wants to just do one park and then enjoy the evening with a swim in the pool. :beach: But I don't know if we'll even get to that! I think we are going to do Yachtmans on Thursday night after our arrival. Then Kona for breakfast on Friday. Still not sure which park we are going to go to, but it looks like it might be DHS (that's still hard to type) since they have the most new stuff, then we can do Brown Derby for dinner and see Fantasmic! :smickey: Saturday before the cruise, I think we might do Spoodles for breakfast. We've never been to Yachtmans or Kona, and I'd really like to find a few others we've not done too. Maybe we should do Chef Mickey's ::MickeyMo instead of Spoodles....hhmmm....more decisions! (can you tell I am indecisive?) :scratchin Of course, if we do the Magic Kingdom, we could do Crystal Palace for breakfast pooh: and then maybe the Spirit of Aloha for dinner. Then do Kona on Saturday for breakfast. HELP! :confused3

Off to get my shower and head to the post office! Have a good day!

:scared1: poor boys!!!!! hope they get better soon!! sounds like you'll have a busy day looking after them!

Sounds like that dining room is gonna have no idea what hit it!!!!!!!!!!!

My dh started showing more interest last night in the group (he loves our vacations, but just goes along with what I plan). He said at dinner last night he hopes some of the guys want to hang out and drink some beers. Any of you guys up for that invite???

Oh Michelle, so sorry about your boys, that does NOT sound like a fun day!!!!

Alex, are you all going back to the Hyatt to stay the night on Friday? We'll be there too, but not until late. I haven't figured out how to get us to the port yet.

Erika,

You can count Bruce in for that he is always up for some guy talk and a beer. Last time my dad and him went to the beer tasting and really like it...

Michele,

I hope the boys feel better really really soon!!!!!!!!

Erika I am insulted and can't believe you would bring up a topic like this Ahahahaha! I didn't think anyone would fall for that, I'll be buying some beer at every port just to do a taste test, count me in.
I would like to see the girls all go out one night and the guys can all go out another night. I'll be bringing my laptop anyways, maybe download a movie or ten so I won't be bored on babysitting night.

Alex,

When I asked her what info. I needed she told me to start compiling a list and then as it got closer we would need to get confirmation numbers and then DCL will be able to make sure that we are all linked together so we can all be seated at tables near each other...

We are requesting the PLA rotation so I think we should all make sure that whoever you are booked with has this request. Also, your TA should have the request of what family you want seated at your specific table. Then as it gets closer we will make sure that all of our tables are located in one area of the dining room.....

Have,, I confused you enough already????

Not confused yet! But wont take long.............
And what time sitting were thinking about?
Another question for ya, Have you ever used the nursery on the Magic or the baby sitting service at SSR. Mich. and I are hoping to take advantage of that both on the cruise and at SSR in August?

And one more,,, I was reading another post and learned that when you do an add on to your DVC points. There is no admin/legal fees providing you add to your home resort and use year. Is that true. I know you added on a few months ago. Funny we haven't even used are DVC yet and were planning on adding on.

Thanks,

Alex (I told Mich. we need to say which one of us is posting or we'll confuse everyone to whom they are speaking)

Hi there Erika,

We should arrive at Hyatt MCO around 11am on the friday. Around noon 1pm we will rent a car, hit Walmart for bottled water and goodies for the cruise. And then head to WDW for MNSSHP. We will return to Hyatt just after midnight. Since we booked our flights with Disney, they include the DCL bus shuttle from the Hyatt to the port. Works really well. (used it last time). I know Maggie was hoping the girls could up at the Hyatt. If you take the DCL bus that would work out even better for them. There is plenty of time to kill once you arrive to the port so I think thats another perfect for everyone to meet and the kids can hang out together before boarding. Well have to figure out away for the girls to connect at the Hyatt.

Is that an offer to babysit our kids as well? hehehe
Where are you guys flying out of?

Alec will definately be into hanging out and drinking beer,:drinking1

Definately going to download the DING (thanks)!
Our group of 9 is leaving from TO on the friday at about 8:30am. I think I mentioned to you before we are flying with AirCanada (which I'm not a fan of), but our TA booked it for us and the advantage I found over going from Buffalo was it included transfer to the port on the saturday morning which was a big savings. Flight cost per person was about $400 taxes in. They also guarantee to get you on the boat should there be any problems with flights (since its booked thru DCL).
After we check in to the hotel, we'll head over to WDW for about 2 or 3pm for MNSSHP. We did it last year and stayed until midnight. Made for a very long, but great day. We walked onto to almost every ride. Got lots of candy. Watched both parade and fireworks (amazing). Totally worth it.
Michelle is not going to come. She will stay at the Hyatt with the baby and relax. (it would be to much for her and Rebecca).
Definately keep us posted on your flight info.

Alex

We are also going to the MNSSHP. We are going to rent a car vs. using DCL. I think they charge $59 per person for transportation, we can rent a car for waaaayyyy cheaper!!!
I'll keep you posted. I will let you know ASAP if a DING! fare comes up.

We haven't decided where we are flying out of yet but I am thinking it will be Pearson. I'd rather drive an hour and a half and be there. I just don't feel like waking the kids at 3am to drive across the boarder for a 6am flight.
Did you notice how I did not even acknowledge the babysitting question LOL

So that's a yes!

If you go from Pearson, like I mentioned to Gina, our gang of 9 will be flying early friday morning. (I think 8:30 or 9am, I'd have to check)

You know if we baby sit together, one can fetch drinks while the other deals. Many hours to be spent at the Mickey pool...

We added on but bought a contract at SSR and have just recently extended our OKW contract. There are no closing cost or other costs involved, and it doesn't matter if it is in the same use year or a different resort. You are already a member so no costs.

Speaking of, for the DVC owners on this cruise are you going to the members get together on the cruise. We think we are going to go, sounds like fun and you can win prizes, also I have read that DVC knows who the members on board are and you may get DVC gifts in your rooms or magnets on your doors. Krisitin I know you are a member and have done other cruises, have you ever received any DVC gifts?

Great, we will have all you guys playing poker with Disney Dollars!!!:goodvibes

We definately goto the DVC owners get together. I was also wondering about the freebees and goodies left in you room for the DVCer's. I was under the impression that you only received stateroom goodies if you booked using your DVC pts. Therefore, like us, if you paid cash. No goodies.
Although last year on the cruise they gave DVC members baseball caps and pins.

Hi everybody,

I have not been on in a long time. Tonya told me about the new thread. Sounds like everyone is ready to go on the cruise now, I know I am!! :yay: I have been working doing taxes for H&R Block so I have been really busy.:scared: I ordered my passporter book and I'm looking forward to getting it and finding out about cruising with Disney. This is our first time to go on any kind of cruise. We are all looking forward to Oct, but mean while we are helping to plan a wedding.:lovestruc :dance3: My middle son, who is in the army, is getting married in May. So right now we are pretty focused on wedding plans. Well, I hope that I can visit the thread more often and try to stay in touch.

Jamie

Thank you for the get well wishes. Colton is so sick. He is back in bed....fever, cough, congestion...but no more loss of bodily fluids. Connor is totally better. I don't think it was that stomach problem he has, just maybe ate something that didn't agree with him. He is watching the movie Holes....for the 100th time!

You can count on Steve, aka Bubba, to meet the guys for a few beers and you can count on ME to meet with the ladies! I won't have to worry about babysitting though. Seems my monsters will have the run of the ship...well, sort of!

The chocolate is in the hands of the USPS, so you should get them this week!

Making a spinach salad for dinner, with strawberries, almonds and grilled chicken breast. I am so hungery for this dish, I am thinking I might have to have dinner early tonight!

Good to hear from you Jamie!! and CONGRATS to your son! How very exciting! Good luck with the planning.

I forgot to mention, we went to the DVC presentation on board the last time, and although we were not in a position to buy, Connor did win a DVC beach towel!

I found a shirt I am going to order for the cruise. Go to bigdogs.com. they have a Pirate Princess Tshirt....comes in PINK only! :rotfl: I was going to go online and get it, but since we are going to Myrtle Beach and I am sure we'll hit the outlet, I thought I might wait to see if I can get it there.
