I bought my chocolate stuff today so I'm getting closer!!!

Gee, so sorry to offend with my dh's question about drinking beers...:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 I told him I figured you guys would be up for it.

I'm glad babysitting is not an issue for us. My kids are old enough, we can do whatever! Although some days I miss them being little and needy.

No candy in my mailbox today :sad1: :sad1: . Maybe Tuesday...

I just noticed there is 1 too many numbers in my zipcode in Kristin's PM with the candy addresses. There are only 2 3's in my zip code.

That was my daughters idea when we opened the mailbox. She said the mailman must be stealing them!

erika, your city name is also spelled wrong. I only know that as I did an internet search to get the correct zip!

Allen, I don't care for fish. I even grew up so close to Lake Erie that I could see it from my bedroom window and spent many a summer day swimming in it. Just don't care for fish. Now Mom and Dad, they love catfish dinners and even to a fish fry or 2. Dad used to fish for walleye all the time. I would go hungry those nights!

I knew there was something else! I too, miss my boys being little. I guess that is why I babysit now....or as she likes to call me, I am her Nanny! I enjoy the time I have with the little ones, but I also enjoy my big boys too!

Yikes, you are right!!! I got the other package Kristin sent me, so I never thought to double check when I got the list LOL. It will all find me eventually.

So that's a yes!

If you go from Pearson, like I mentioned to Gina, our gang of 9 will be flying early friday morning. (I think 8:30 or 9am, I'd have to check)

You know if we baby sit together, one can fetch drinks while the other deals. Many hours to be spent at the Mickey pool...
LOL I like it.
I will have to check different variations and it's kind of our fault we didn't include the flight with the cruise but I will look into that. If we cash in the Airmiles and top off what we need with charitable donations the trip is actually very inexpensive. I liked that idea because it is a direct flight.
We also want to leave Friday morning. I am making some serious phone calls on Monday.

Thank you for the get well wishes. Colton is so sick. He is back in bed....fever, cough, congestion...but no more loss of bodily fluids. Connor is totally better. I don't think it was that stomach problem he has, just maybe ate something that didn't agree with him. He is watching the movie Holes....for the 100th time!

Good movie!

You can count on Steve, aka Bubba, to meet the guys for a few beers and you can count on ME to meet with the ladies! I won't have to worry about babysitting though. Seems my monsters will have the run of the ship...well, sort of!

Sure, rub it in!

The chocolate is in the hands of the USPS, so you should get them this week!

Woohoo

Making a spinach salad for dinner, with strawberries, almonds and grilled chicken breast. I am so hungery for this dish, I am thinking I might have to have dinner early tonight!

Can you see my mouth watering? OMG spinach salad

A girls night out sounds like a lot of fun to me!!!!!!!
I don't drink....but if you don't mind...I would love to join you all and have a diet coke!!!!

Michele, I hope your boys feel better soon!!!

Jamie, congrats on your sons wedding and it is so good to here from you!!!

Kristin, boy that list is getting long....we are going to have a great time!!!

Allen, I love your siggy!!!!
Candy I am sure you wouldn't even have to ask that, you will be fine.

ROFL! I Just noticed your Pink is Pimpin' banner!! YEAH! He's officially converted!!

Here is the recipe for the salad....

From the April/May 2001 issue of Taste of Homes Light and Tasty magazine

Strawberry Spinach Salad

8 cups torn fresh spinach (I use a bag of baby spinach)
2 Cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 Tablespoon sunflower seeds
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted (I omit the sunflower and sesame and replace with slivered almonds)

dressing:
2 Tablespoons canola oil
2 Tablespoons red wine or cidar vinager (I use cider vinegar)
4 1/2 teaspoons sugar (I use Splenda)
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh snipped dill OR 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground mustard

Mix your salad ing. in a large bowl. Mix your dressing in a smaller bowl, then combine the 2.

I prefer to leave the dressing off and add it when we eat. Steve likes more dressing then I do. Also, we add chicken....either grilled, baked or even canned!

Well for us it has to be an issue because JoKe are too young and value their sleep. They are in bed by 8pm and then it's like umm well now what. Which is why we needed a varanda so we can at least sit outside. I'll be asking for a few jugs of hot water because I am addicted to my green tea but anyone else who is in the same situation as us will also need some sort of escape. I like the kid clubs but our little ones wouldn't be able to stay awake until 10 pm

I found a recepie once, we made it but never again. It had a hot bacon dressing so it's not too hard to figure out the salad had an entire lifetime supply of grease. It actually called for a pound of freshly fried bacon, which you crumbled up and tossed in the salad and all the grease was blended into the dressing...hello that's like a cup of grease.

That is a lot of grease. I do like spinach salad with hot bacon dressing though! This salad is a lot lighter then that.
