Hi everybody,

I have not been on in a long time. Tonya told me about the new thread. Sounds like everyone is ready to go on the cruise now, I know I am!! I have been working doing taxes for H&R Block so I have been really busy. I ordered my passporter book and I'm looking forward to getting it and finding out about cruising with Disney. This is our first time to go on any kind of cruise. We are all looking forward to Oct, but mean while we are helping to plan a wedding. My middle son, who is in the army, is getting married in May. So right now we are pretty focused on wedding plans. Well, I hope that I can visit the thread more often and try to stay in touch.

Thank you for the get well wishes. Colton is so sick. He is back in bed....fever, cough, congestion...but no more loss of bodily fluids. Connor is totally better. I don't think it was that stomach problem he has, just maybe ate something that didn't agree with him. He is watching the movie Holes....for the 100th time!

You can count on Steve, aka Bubba, to meet the guys for a few beers and you can count on ME to meet with the ladies! I won't have to worry about babysitting though. Seems my monsters will have the run of the ship...well, sort of!

The chocolate is in the hands of the USPS, so you should get them this week!

Making a spinach salad for dinner, with strawberries, almonds and grilled chicken breast. I am so hungery for this dish, I am thinking I might have to have dinner early tonight!

well I'm glad they aren't both sick at least! Holes is a good movie, I remember watching it a LONG time ago LOL

Hey everyone! I was wondering how we are doing on the chocolate deal! I have been gone for the last few days and I have been getting pm's and I am not sure where we are!

I have sent all of mine out last Friday, you should be getting them in a week or two!!!

Hey all, it has been one of those days, first I went to the wrong location for a birthday party, then got lost getting to the right location, dropped off then went to the grocery store, came out and the van wouldn't start. Walked home, then later the handle on the stove fell off , AHHHHH! Alec fixed the stove, then dd gave a stool that broke for him to fix and now he is meeting CAA to tow the van. YIKES!!

We did this on the Member Cruise last year. 91 of us all sat together and we took over the whole right side of the Triton's.

oh I'll bet that was alot of fun!!!!!!!!!!

We definately goto the DVC owners get together. I was also wondering about the freebees and goodies left in you room for the DVCer's. I was under the impression that you only received stateroom goodies if you booked using your DVC pts. Therefore, like us, if you paid cash. No goodies.
Although last year on the cruise they gave DVC members baseball caps and pins.

We did not book with points, and the only freebies we got were when we went to the member get together!!!!!

Another question for ya, Have you ever used the nursery on the Magic or the baby sitting service at SSR. Mich. and I are hoping to take advantage of that both on the cruise and at SSR in August?

And one more,,, I was reading another post and learned that when you do an add on to your DVC points. There is no admin/legal fees providing you add to your home resort and use year. Is that true. I know you added on a few months ago. Funny we haven't even used are DVC yet and were planning on adding on.

Most of us are booked with early dining but some of us have late dining.

THere are closing costs associated with adding on but each time we have added on Disney has paid them. It just depends what promotion they are having/offering when you add on...They have a GREAT promotion they are offering now but it ends the 18th...

I have never used the babysiting service but my cousin did a few times when they were at SSR and they had nothing but GREAT things to say about it.. Also, when we were at the Swan/Dolphin for a business trip for DH a few people used it and loved it...!!!!!!!!

I just noticed there is 1 too many numbers in my zipcode in Kristin's PM with the candy addresses. There are only 2 3's in my zip code.

Yes I noticed that too when I went to the post office on Friday! the lady looks at it and asks is there suppose to be only 2 3's and I looked and say uhhm I guess, but I'm not sure LOL so she scribbled out the extra 3!!! LOL

We added on but bought a contract at SSR and have just recently extended our OKW contract. There are no closing cost or other costs involved, and it doesn't matter if it is in the same use year or a different resort. You are already a member so no costs.

Speaking of, for the DVC owners on this cruise are you going to the members get together on the cruise. We think we are going to go, sounds like fun and you can win prizes, also I have read that DVC knows who the members on board are and you may get DVC gifts in your rooms or magnets on your doors. Krisitin I know you are a member and have done other cruises, have you ever received any DVC gifts?

You know I just posted to Alec that we did not and Bruce has since corrected me we got a magnet and a nice invite to the get together and a tote bag.. Then more goodies at the get together..>!!!!!!!!.>>/

What are the men doing for formal night. We discussed that last night too (can you tell we went to dinner with no kids?) and he said he'd be more comfortable in a suit rather than a tux.
