I couldn't find any of you guys, i have been wondering around looking for yall, i even clicked my heels and said I WANT TO GO HOME. i don't write much but i try to keep up
i did pick up a pirates name while i was floating around MAD GRACE FLINT
any way i'm glad i found you i will go back and read all i misssed now

where about up north are you from? I'm originaly from the Timmins area!!

Okay, you win. Timmins is waaaaaayyyy up there.
We live in Ballantrae, which is the north part of Stouffville. We are next to Aurora, Newmarket area. But for some reason, we seem to be in a little pocket of snowy hell. I've driven 300 yrds out of my subdivsion and the skies are clear, not a flake to be seen but there is a blinding snow storm at my house. Ive had to convince my boss that there is a foot of snow at my home when the roads are dry in the city. The snow comes off the lake they say.
Alex has a big snow blower with lots of buttons on it so he doesn't mind too much. and with being pregnant and now with Rebecca, I've gotton off lightly. Haven't shovelled once. I'll be making up for it next winter though.

Thanks Kristin, I got the pm. Just got back in from shopping, picked up some molds (Canadian maple leaf and the loonie, not the bird, our $1) So you can enjoy some chocolate money. Alec got called in for an OT (hi honey, I know you are lurking ) so its a busy night between Sparks and dance and dinner and homework, but i want to start so I may try to get one batch done.

at least your getting a break this year!!! so far this year I've shovelled the driveway about 6 times and Denis maybe 2 times? we don't get too much snow here in London compared to way up north where I'm originaly from. They get tons!!! glad I'm not there anymore LOL

It's 27 outside right now, and it's suppose to start snowing here soon. I can't really complain, we don't get a whole lot of snow here. If we get an inch or 2, that's significant! However, it's suppose to change over to freezing rain through the night and early morning hours. That could make the morning treacherous and could put us on a delay for school! and THAT would be okay by me!

Thanks Krista for the welcome! Frankie will be 7 by cruise time;on 8/22. we have never been on the Magic, but have been on the Wonder 3 times. Both DH and I are nurses-although I'm not working-home with the kiddies! LOL. DH is an ER nurse and loves the controlled chaos. I look forward to getting to know all of you! Angel

Quick question... is there any benefit to paying off the cruise early, other than just not having to worry about it anymore? DH wants us to keep the interest in the savings account

Other kids the same ages as my boys? Sean will be 11 1/2 (is probably more like 9-10 emotionally, due to LOTS of surgeries and health issues) and Kaj (rhymes with Tie) will be 14.

Your DH is right, the money is better in your bank account rather than DCL's. The only advntage to paying off the cruise early has been for us Canadians with CDN$ rising above par.
We are travelling with another family from just outside of Toronto, they too have a son that will be 11 1/5 (at time of cruise) and as coincidence would have it, his name is also Shaun (just spelt differently).

It was incredibly cold today, it is so icy out there. YUCK!!!
