Candy is right mousesavers has lots of codes.

Hi everyone, did I mention I am sick of snow, 31 days until trip to FL, WDW here I come!!!

can I sneak into your suitcase??????!!!!!!

It's a balmy 67 degrees here today! It's just beautiful, in between the storms! I agree...is this February or June? I'll take the warmth though!

As for the schools....we have pulled the boys out in October in 04 and 06 and we'll do it again in 08. Every year we have done this, one of the boys has been sick with something else causing them to miss the maximum number of days! So, we have received the if your kid misses another day this year, you will pay a fine of $50 PER DAY and/or serve jail time. So far, we have not had to do either, but we were sort of sweating it! LOL During cruise years, I just keep a close tab with the pediatricians office and make sure they note when the boys are sick, so if I do end up in a fight with the BOE, I have documented when they are sick!

We were going to go to church service tonight, but there is a gas leak somewhere and no heat in the sancutary. They are going to hold the service downstairs somewhere, but I can't imagine ANY room downstairs will be big enough to accomodate everyone. We have elected to miss service and stay home to help with the overcrowding. (that sounds like a good reason, don't you think?) Then, on Sunday, they are holding the service at the movie theature! LOL I hope they have coffee and doughnuts for sale! LOL Connor was suppose to be acolyte next Sunday, but now he won't need to.

Time to start dinner....speghetti tonight!

man it is horrible out there today!!!!! rain, freezing rain and now snow to cover up all that ice...should be a fun drive tomorrow morning!!!!!! :scared1:

We are driving from N.C. to Port Carnaval (with a Friday night pit stop in Jacksonville, Fla.). Would rather put the miles on a rental than on our SUV that already has 110,000 miles! Looking into using my American Airlines frequent flyer miles to rent (rarely fly these days). Has anyone been successful in doing this? Looks like just a couple of agencies let you burn your miles to rent...

And can someone tell me where to find those rental codes????

Renee

Hi Renee were flying in on the friday morning to Orlando and spending the day at WDW hopefully catching Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween Party. DCL puts us up at the Hyatt MCO and then transfers our gang to the terminal in the morning.

Certainly use your air miles for your rental.

Alex

I know this warmth is just a fleeting moment in time, but I enjoyed it today! It's already dropping and is back in the 50s now...time to close the kitchen window again...but the breeze felt so good! It just feels good to have some fresh air in the house, yanno?

gee we haven't had our windows open for months now, but yah I know what you mean about a nice fresh breeze going through the house!!! :goodvibes

Help me out here! I am one of the chairs for the school carnival. I am trying to come up with inexpensive, but NICE prizes for the kids. I don't want to buy a bunch of that crappy toy stuff...yanno what I'm talking about! So far, I have pens, pencils and silicone bracelets...all with the school logo embossed. Pens and pencils are about 15 cents each and the bracelets I found for about 25 cents! What other items would be a fun promo? Folders and waterbottles looked to be too much. I'm trying to keep the "big" prizes at under 25...then the smaller trinkety stuff will be the little prizes.

The wind began to whip, the house to twitch....hang on Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore! I do declare, there's a storm a brewin' out there!

hey all,

AHhh, it isn't suppose to stop snowing until tomorrow evening, make it stop. Denis it will take you forever to get to TO, you better leave now:rotfl: I know Alec isn't looking forward to the drive in tomorrow either. Nancy, what time is good for you??:lmao: there won't be alot of room in the suitcase though. Michelle what about lanyards, we had them made with the school logo on them, the kids loved them and they were pretty cheap too.

Well...ehem, I'd have to talk DW into letting me take the truck there instead of flying. Nice comfy 4x4 straight down the 401.

Now that song is stuck in my head!!!

How about candy? It's not junky, and it doesn't clutter the house because they eat it.

Not warm here. Not much of anything here yet. But back to the deepfreeze this weekend, yet again.
