I just checked with Air Miles and we can only book with Alamo or National but we wanted Budget because of how close they are to the Port. Ecomony car with Alamo is 250 points per day, I'm guessing the minivan should be about 400 points which isn't bad considering it's free LOL

Sounds, like you have it all planned out for the cruise. The Wed. before we are going to go to SSR..I still need to get the car booked to take us to the port. Also, need my airfare but am waiting for AirTran or JetBlue since we have credit on both and need to use them up....

Air Tran has their October dates out......at least through the 18th....I did not check further out than that. My sister is probably going to fly Air Tran and I was checking fares for her....

They are having a sale to boot. Prices to and from NY to MCO looked good.

Also glad to hear you enjoyed Hannah, I was waiting for your response on the other thread we were discussing the movie on. She really is an amazing perfomer for someone so young!

Your daughters life right now sounds very exciting!!!!

I have the Hyatt booked for before and after, and airfare was done in October. I still have to figure out the transportation to and from though, as well as excursions, etc.

Very exciting for her!!! But very expensive for us!!! The exchange rate for British pounds to US dollars is horrible.....if she takes out 60 pounds from the ATM in London it costs us $120 US.....She owes us big time!!!

Candy, I meant to post earlier, we have friends who are married, but he is 55 and she is 29. From his first marriage, his oldest grandaughter is now 17! They don't call her grandma, they call her by her first name, but I just thought I'd let you know, you're not the youngest grandma I know!

Those are cool plane photos. Can't wait to see those at Maho beach! We'll have to see what the flight schedule is.

We almost always use a code of some kind for the rental cars. The last trip, we used budget as there is one at Sanford and at Port. Just makes it convenient. We used a code for our June trip to WDW too. With the code, we got our park tickets upgraded to include park hopping, water parks and more...for free! It was a great upgrade! We would have never went to the waterparks had we not got that with the ticket price.

I made some home made Valentine's Day chocolates for Nancy and her family since she sent me the pirate chests.. And I made pink ones for DH.. YOu know the mold kind..???

I'm not sure what we'll do about transportation. We'll only need the car long enough to get from MCO to the port, and maybe make a beverage stop. Budget seems to be at least $62-$80 plus fees for a car big enough for our luggage for that 2 hours. On the return we need the car for the whole day but not overnight. Any suggestions???
