EFFECTIVE January 30 , 2008
NEW OFFICE POLICY

Dress Code:
1) You are advised to come to work dressed according to your salary.
2) If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we will assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a raise.
3) If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise.
4) If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise.
Sick Days:
We will no longer accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.
Personal Days:
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturdays & Sundays.
Bereavement Leave:
This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend the funeral arrangements in your place. In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.

Bathroom Breaks:
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the stall door will open, and a picture will be taken. After your second offense, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the "Chronic Offenders" category. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sectioned under the company's mental health policy.

Lunch Break:
* Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy.
* Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.
* Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.
Thank you for your loyalty to our company. We are here to provide a positive employment experience. Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.
Sincerely,
The Management
Pass this on to all who are employed and let them have a good laugh!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

Hey, I hit 8,800 Tonight!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello All, Sorry ya'll missed me last night, ;) but we were in the middle of all of the severe weather going through Tennessee last night. We were watching the weather instead. We. were spared the really bad stuff, but a lady I work with had 2 friends killed and she is without power and water. Power in her area won't be restored until late this weekend at best. If you happened to see on the news, the burning natural gas pumping station that exploded, that was about 20 miles north of us and very visible from my front yard. :scared: 74 degree days in February are NOT good, no matter how you slice it!

Allen,
I'm so glad you are ok!!! Randy and I were worried about you today when we were watching the news!!! I hope your mom is ok too!!

Congrats Kristin on 8,800!!!:woohoo:

Contrats
Pinkyboy on 300!!!! (I couldn't resist!)

I'm sorry I missed everyone tonight!!!
I hope the weather will get better for you all!! It's been pretty ugly out here in So Cal......about 65 and too much sun!!! :lmao:

Sorry to hear about the school's attitude, Kristin. And sorry this is so long!

A few districts here in North Carolina have what is called a "year-round" schedule for some elementary and middle schools. Our Wake County district is one. We have a "choice" of traditional (3-month summer) or year-round (four 9-week quarters with four 3- to 5-week trackouts=same amount of school days). The school is broken into 4 tracks of students, so 3 tracks are occupying the building while 1 track is on break, then they rotate out. We are on track 4, which means DD11 and DD6 are out for three weeks in October (perfect for cruising!), the two-week holiday break in December + three weeks in January (DD11 is ready to go back to school after 5 weeks), three weeks in April and 1 week for the July 4 holiday break + last three weeks of July -- this break is our "summer" before beginning a new grade.

It's really controversial and you either hate it or love it. We chose to place our kids in year-round because it works best for our family (plus we can go on vacation more without worrying about missing school and the kids see grandparents often). The YMCA and other outfits provide camps for those tracked out if parents work (like us). Others still want that 3-month summer break, and some families just can't afford those year-round childcare camps. It also gets sticky if you have a high schooler on traditional and another child on a different schedule completely. We are on the right track for high school, yeah!

Glad to hear all in Tennessee and Kentucky made it through the storm. We were watching the storm system move our way yesterday when the temps were at 78 degrees! It died down, along with the rain, before reaching this drought-stricken area. We need the rain, but not the storm!

Renee

Hello all! I am glad to hear everyone reporting in safe and sound!

The contractor was here on Monday and fixed our shingles.....but we lost a few more the last 2 nights. :sad1: He guarentees the work for one year, and he was suppose to be here today, but he hasn't shown!

Personally, I am for the all year round school schedule! I think it's great! Makes traveling a lot easier!

Happy Birthday to Hope and Hanna!

We'll see you at the MNSSHP!!!
