CONGRATS CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just came back from the American Girl Movie soo cute.... I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Afternoon Kiddies:wave:

Rich is cooking tonight so it'll be brats for us for supper.

Congrats Candy on paying off the cruise. It'll be time to leave b4 you know it.

Mary, glad you and Allen finally made it home.

As for me, my cold is still here and I left work early after geting everything done that i needed to. Came hom with Rich and took a shower then used him for a pillow and had a short nap. Now I feel better.

Did anybody get brunch at Palo? I am assuming that a few of you or all of you were on at midnight. I made a dumb move and wait to late on Saturday to pay off my cruise so I could not do it or make Palo ressies. I will try again at the 75 day mark or I will be running to the ship on Saturday morning.

There is a separate discussion thread about Palo availability and a few of us have been talking on it. A few of the first time cruisers are concerned about anything being available at the 75 day window. I don't think you all will have to worry, either you will get something then or things always open up by the day of the brunch. I was able to reserve brunch the time I wanted, but I was on at a minute after midnite.

Hi Heather!! sorry to hear you didn't get your ressies that you wanted! hope you get them!!
we have to wait for the 75 days mark before booking anything but I'm not worried about since we are not booking Palo....DH is not interested LOL no biggy

DH does not know what he is missing. Do you like shrimp so big that to call them shrimp is a misnomer? King crab legs as succulent as ever? A chocolate souffle so rich you'll be in chocolate shock for days? A dining experience that people would pay hundreds of dollars for, yet it only cost you the price of a movie ticket? Then Palo is for you. :rotfl2:

Seriously, now that Saturday has passed and all my plans are in shape, the cruise is starting to look so real and three months doesn't seem so far away anymore.

I'm not worried that there won't be anything. The main board keeps saying they hold back times until embarkation day and that's fine if i book there for Palo. And i don't even know which day I want to go yet. Or do I want Brunch or Dinner? Or both? Doubt I'll be decided by the 75 day window:rotfl:

I am glad to be home! Haven't done anything useful yet, but hopefully I will soon. :dance3: What have you been up to?

not much today except chores and listening to the boys fight all day!!!!

:rotfl: well since we've never been....I guess we're not going to know what we're missing LOL
I was more interested in the brunch than anything else.....but I wont cry over it if we don't go!!! LOL

Good Evening Everyone!

Went to Applebees for dinner...then to Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply Co, The hardware store and Kmart...all in search for one of those carts that has the hose reel on it. NO ONE has one! We should have bought it earlier in the spring. Oh well.....

Heard from the A/C guys.....they are waiting on one part...due to arrive Wednesday, but the soonest they can get here to install is FRIDAY!! HELLO!! It's going to be in the mid 90's all week!!!!! I still have my dining room furniture pushed to the side from where the boys were sleeping. I am seriously thinking of moving the 2 twin mattresess from the guest room to the dining room for Steve and I to sleep on this week!

As for Palo, I much prefer dinner over brunch. I just think the food was better. And your right Sandy, having the cruise paid for and having the ressies made, makes it seem SO much sooner!! I hope this 3 months flies by!!!

Yummy, did you have a dessert shooter? They sent me an e-mail for a free shooter for my birthday, that chocolate mousse shooter is to die for!!!

we had the trio...I had a salad, three cheese chicken and pene and the strawberry cheesecake dessert..it's bigger then a shooter, but smaller then the regular slice. Steve had the buffelo wings, oriental chicken salad and the chocolate mousse!!!! It was all very yummy!!!!!
