I wore the patch... Last cruise and before several surgeries.. It makes me have a wicked dry mouth. I drank last time and it was fine......When, I got off last time I still could feel the boat rocking for a few days afterwards but when it stopped I felt sad I then knew I was home and it was back to reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any troubles with the vision? I think I can handle the dry mouth, just lot's of water right? I am worried about Alexa too, I have heard of people cutting them in half. I was going to put one on tonight to try, but I'm getting my hair highlighted tomorrow and I didn't think that would be a good idea to have that on with all those chemicals.

I just did that to DW. I was going to ask her something so I turned around and all I could do was give her that deer in the headlights look. Still can't remember what it was.....

Have any of you used the motion sickness patch? I have them for both of us, cost me $90, but I am so afraid to use them. I hear so many stories about the blurred vision and feeling sick after the cruise. It also says not to drink with it on (but meclizine says that too, and I have). I have a feeling we'll have to adjust to the land after the cruise regardless, but I am still so worried about wearing them, but I'm also getting really worried about being sick.

they say ginger is great for motion sickness....so, I went out and bought ginger tea and ginger gravol (it's a motion sickness med) and I will also get the sea bands when we get into orlando (they don't sell those things here).

I took Ginger and meclizine on our sailboat ride last year, didn't do a darn thing! I'm sure there was more rocking on that sailboat than cruising, but still. I'm really starting to worry about this issue more, I need to stop!!! Alexa has sea bands, but she doesn't like them, cuz they are uncomfortable.

I will make sure I run from the table first! If I don't show up at dinner you know why. I wish dd didn't get sick, cuz I spend so much time worrying about her it just makes it hard to relax.
