That would be neat. Her name was Dorothy Stepp. Her dad worked in the coal mines. He got TB and died. When my mom was really young .so my grandma worked at sewing to suppost all the kids. She said she lived so close to Lorretta Lynn, she probley played with her growing up.

There is whole family of Stepps who still live in that area. Here in my county we have a private college named Alice Lloyd College. The President is Joe Stepp and he is from that area. They may be relatives. I am sure that I will be seeing Joe soon, I will mention Dorothy Stepp and see if it rings a bell with him.

Hey that is cool!! I dont know very many distant relatives from her side so that would be neat...unfortunantly she died when I was like 12 (I think that was how old I was) but it would be nice to learn about them and see if they are related!!

That is so cool...hey maybe we are related...It is a small world My Grandmother's name was Dorothy Stepp (her maiden name) Her married name was Dorothy Copley. I would love to do that...Might have to make a new trip on the agenda one day to come up to visit

Oh that would be neat. My mom only had brothers. She was a twin. She had a twin brother Dorthey they called her Dot. and her brother was Buddy. Then they had a couple of other brothers. She had a half brother up there that she never could find. I dont remember what his name was but her mom took him in and raised him for a while then she had to give him to one of the relatives cause she didnt have the money to raise him after the dad died. Then she met my dad and we all lived in Ohio unitle I was a teenager.

Here is the best way that I know how to explain how to post those pics:

Go into a photo hosting website like photobucket, and do a search for the pictures you would like to post...say "Disney" or "Princesses" or something...then just click on it and then click the bottom link and copy it...then come on here to reply and just paste it in your message...it should show up right away.

My dads name was Homer Copley. He was born and raised in Crum West Virginia. We used to go there and visit my grandfather growing up.
