Morning Just got home from my walk and the store making chili today!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH I LOVE Chili!!! I will be right over :lmao:

I don't know how to post links, but has anyone seen the news articles about the Islamic guy who says Mickey Mouse is a soldier for Satan and should be killed. I guess no one told him that Mickey Mouse isn't real. It's just some kid in a costume. Still, made me worried. Could the next terrorist attack be on one of Disneys resort destinations.

Oh My! I didnt hear about that :sad2: That is all we need. Now the Mickeys are going to go into hiding if they hear that :rolleyes1 I think the guy has some serious issues if he thinks that Mickey Mouse is a soldier for Satan

Maybe today I can get the items that I put into a laundry basket for the Cruise actually packed :wizard:

Hope all is well today :thumbsup2

Hi all.
Shauna , Your dads on his way down to your house today. So now time to party...... :yay: Just joking.

Um.... not exactly! LOL... it's gonna take me a couple of days to drive to Iowa once I start on the driving part of my trip! Yahoo says something like 20 HOURS of drive time!

Do I need to start homeschooling you all on these United States???? Sheesh! LOLOL!

Don't you know I'm a New Yorker and I have a New Yorker's (the magazine) view of the US. There's New York, New Jersey and then the rest of the US until we hit California :rotfl:

awesome!!! congrats!!!!!!!!

I've learned to stay away from the dress code threads. The claws really come out in those.

(personally, I don't think kids should be held to the same standards as adults. I don't see anything wrong with nice shorts at dinner.)

Agreed. I also stay away from the threads about whether kids should be allowed to bring something to the table to entertain themselves while the adults are eating... personally, I have NO problem with THAT at all! So long as they use headphones or it is kept quiet so it isn't disturbing other diners, what is the big deal? In other words... if you are eating with us, be prepared... LOL! Since Sean doesn't eat, I see no reason to make him suffer just because WE do eat! :)

Anything with dinner and dress code in it is heated....:confused3 IMHO, you should wear what suits you, and don't worry what anyone else thinks!!

Exactly. This is DCL, not the QM2. When I cruise the latter next year, I know I am expected to wear a jacket in the evening. That is the type of clientele the chip attracts and if it weren't for me, I wouldn't choose it. But DCL has always been more casual and as long as the person is dressed tasteful (I know that statement itself is open to interpretation, but what i mean is wearing not looking like you just came out of working on your car engine - just plain common sense), then who cares? I won't wear a jacket to dinner, but I'll dress cruise casual. And on formal and semi-formal night I will dress to the nines. It's not something I do everyday and isn't a vacation about breaking away from routine? But, if someone wants to keep the jacket home for formal night, it's not my business and my eyes will not fall out by looking at them ;)

I also avoid all of these thread. I especially avoid any thread about whether or not to tip the servers. :sad2: :sad2:

Well got to run again. I stopped in to change out of the high heels to before I go picke Merkie up from school. We've got to do the Walmart thing tonight. Talk to you later.

No docs for us either...I guess better late than never!

CRUISE QUESTION - SORT OF

My teens are working on me to let them go to MNSSHP on Friday night. Is anyone going or has anyone done this in the past? They want to show "our" exchange student from Germany the Magic Kingdom in all its Halloween glory. DH and I are looking at the logistics. It would be kind of cool!

Any thoughts?

We did it last year and are doing it post cruise this year and we're not teens. It's loads of fun. They keep a number of attractions and food places open and there are candy giveaway stations all over the place. Loads of people dress up in costume and there is a very cool parade (I'll post some pictures I took tomorrow when I'm home). Of course the Magic kingdon is decorated to the nines for Halloween. Actually your teens are probably smarter going before the cruise, cause they can bring all that candy on board and share it with the rest of us :rotfl:

LOL, well I'm glad you know where California is!!!! :rotfl2:
