I actually would love to try a western as well....we'll see what's out there when the dates come out? LOL
I would like to do another western, mostly for Key West!!
Off to do more cruise shopping!! See ya later.

Hey everyone...WOW I didnt think there would be so many pages to catch up on from last night to today :lmao:

How is everyone doing???

Let me try to remember everything...Randy WOW sounds like an interesting night with the police report and such  Viper in a tree... Yea I sure hope that they dont hear that much

Gail and everyone else...I would love to do a reunion meet up with everyone. Im going to miss everyone when the cruise is over with...what am I going to do each day not having everyone to talk to:sad2: I dont mind either a reunion cruise or Disney (Im so close to either one that both would be a nice thing for me). Oh No, gotta stop thinking about that...Im getting sad and we havent even started the cruise yet :sad1:

We have another cruise already planned for our 10 year anniversary on May 2nd...Key West for us on that one!!! Anyone want to join us :rolleyes1

I need to order a basket for Chris...Well I dont need to but I think I might go ahead and order one  I have never ordered one before so I think I will be ok  :goodvibes

Oh, I think we'll still have the boards....Like Allen said, Parrothead Pirates in Paradise: Reality Check. I don't think being home will keep us away. Maybe we should plan to cruise together in 2010. Then we'll start a thread for that one too!
With all of us talking so much...I do hope that we all keep in touch after the cruise (well at least most of us)

Well I am off to pack some boxes of things to move (well not moving yet but packing things up) I am happy to announce that I have actually put My clothes and Christopher's clothes into our luggage for the cruise!! :cool1: I still have to wait a little while to do Mikes cause he doesnt have as many clothes as we do and I need him to try on a few things before I pack them. But I am a step closer to the cruise...gotta pack more things but I am happy to say that at least our everyday clothes are packed for the cruise :woohoo:

Talk to you all later..hope you are all having a good day.

Afternoon kiddies:wave:

Boy y'all sure were talkative this morning. Thought I'd chatch up and there's more than 10 pages to go back and read:lmao:

Anyhow, I got my skirt in for tailoring this morning, pciked up some stuff so i can work on the extender. And hit Coldwater Creek for some last minute cruise shopping, since the tailor said she really wasn't sure how nice she could make the balck slacks I had look. And I never liked them much anyway. So off we went for new pants:rotfl: And out we walked with new pants, a tshirt and a tank all suitable for cruising:woohoo:

NOw all I really need is new shoes. Which i was trying to avoid, but its really gotta be done I'm afraid.

Still here slaving away for the City of Los Angeles. I found some interesting information on page #1 of this thread...http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1942249

Some of you may have already seen this, it's kinda cool!!!

Great link. the pricing for Shutters is very helpful, though I doubt we'll be buying enough pics to get a package, but its great to have a ballpark figure for that.

We handled an interesting crash last night. A guy driving a Viper lost control ran off the road, sheared off a 25 foot lamp post at the base and then ran into a tree. His momentum pushed his car up into the tree. The tree was bent over and the car was about 3/4ths into the tree and off the ground. The car is no longer a car!!!! Of course he was drunk!!!! Job security for me... Some of these car crashes are unbelievable!!!!

OMG

Unbeleivable. I adore Vipers. They are 1 of the hottest cars I have ever seen. If only I had the moeny to own 1:rolleyes:

Wow, that post is just chock full of information!!! I like the Navigator too!! :thumbsup2

we are back from the mall, and I "THINK" we are done cruise shopping, but, LOL, we'll see!!! we ended up getting some pepperoni rolls for dinner. They are so big and filling.

Time to clean up after Kozmo again. This is just killing my arms and wrists! If he's not better by Monday, off to the vet we go...and I hate to say it, but I really don't need that added expense before the cruise!!!!!! But like I said, aside from being sick, he seems totally normal!

Hello everyone!

We are at the cabin too - pulling out the boat and jet-ski and docks. My DS and his son even got in one last tubing session though their teeth were chattering! And "our" exchange student drove the jetski and said it was "cule"! I love how she says "cool"!

STILL NO DOCS HERE!!!

I guess they will get here this week. Maybe because my sister added her German exchange student to the ressie last week?:confused3 I won't worry yet!

I finally did some shopping for myself and am just about done. Still working on finding sandals which isn't very easy to do at this time of year - in Minnesota!

My crew is going to MNSSHP on Friday, the 10th. They are very excited. The parents will stay behind and have a nice quiet dinner! :thumbsup2

Enjoy the last couple official days of summer~ fall is coming and that means cruise time!

Sheesh! I didn't think I was gone that long and ya'll posted 5 pages! LOL I better pop in more often today!

Well, I have to add trim the grass in the back yard to my list of things to do today. I had Connor take out the dogs and he observed that Kozmo is eating the tall grass up against the fence. (I ran out of trimmer string and then I ran out of daylight!) Connor seems to think that maybe the neighbor on the other side sprayed some kind of chemical on it and that makes it sweet so Koz likes it, but in turn, it makes him sick! SO off I go to do THAT, then I'll shower and take the boys to the mall.

I forgot to mention!!! Steve had great news last night!!! Rite Aid is changing the pharmacy Saturday hours from 9a-9p to 9a-6p!!! He's going to be home at a decent hour and we could actually go out! This takes affect Oct 4th.

Okay off to get more chores done!

well I hope that will cure why Kozmo is sick? poor dog...
great news too about Steve having new hours!! I bet he's going to love that!

It's weird to hear everyone talk of "winterizing". We will wear shorts until at least Halloween. I have been known to mow grass up to Thanksgiving. Although this year it is so DRY, the lawn is already dormant.

I think I am in for a long rest of the weekend. Daisy just lost part of her dinner on the kitchen floor. Maybe it was her that left me gifts in the dining room today?

Off to do more chores.....

I want some ice cream.......

Steve said he sent his boss a message to the effect that "He only looks out for the companies best interest and that He would be willing to operate under the new hours for the next two weeks to give it a test run. this way we'll be sure that the hours will work."
He is very excited about the new hours though! He'll get to spend more time with us, and since they are not having to pay a pharmacists for those 3 hours, they are going to increase the pharmacy tech hours by 15 a week! that will help tremendously!!!

Hey! i'm ordering baskets for the kids and secretly ordering one for the DH. Tried calling Shirley at the Perfect Gift on Friday, but the shop was busy and the person answering the phone said she'd call me back.

QUESTION: Does someone have her e-mail address? I'd like to send her an e-mail about my baskets and possibly see if she can send me a list of items I can include.

Only the phone numbers are listed on the web site...

Thanks! Taking the three goofball girls shoe shopping tomorrow! :scared1:  :scared1:

Well, I took Meagan to the beach, then Shannon and I went to Kohl's and were able to get more cruise shopping done.....no shoes though, but they had great deals 30-70% off pretty much the entire store!!!!!! I found a few tops and Shannon found some tops and a dress!!!
After Kohl's Shannon and I went out to lunch, we then came home for a short while!!! Randy finally got home around 1:30PM!!!! He worked about 20 hours straight!!!!
Shortly after, Meagan called and needed to be picked up from her friends house that she got a ride home from!! And my DBIL called and needs to be picked up from Flyaway this evening!!!! So I will be in and out later!!!

Michele, I hope your dogs get better soon......for there sake and YOURS!!!!

As far as winterizing.....................What's that??? LOL No winterizing here at all!!!!

I hope everyone is having a good day!!!!
