Good morning fellow cruisers!

I've been MIA for so long but I've read the past few pages! I can't believe we are sailing 5 weeks from today! I better start shopping! I did not want to buy anything for DS since he seems to grow an inch every month. But he has invited his girlfriend to Homecoming (in 3 weeks) and he'll need a suit as it's a semi-formal event. Guess we are shopping today at the MOA...

DD also wanted to wait to buy a dress for Homecoming and she can wear it on the cruise since no one will see her wear it twice (God forbid!) I guess she may be shopping today!

DH has been losing weight so I really don't think any of his dress clothes will fit so he may be shopping today!

As for me...I better start looking through the old closet...

I noticed someone mentioned the deadline for online check-in. My sister has not done it yet but we went to the site and the deadline is actually Oct. 9 so no worries for those who haven't had time.

My nephew who is coming on the cruise asked his girlfriend(also coming on the cruise!) to marry him last weekend so we will be celebrating their engagement!

Wow, I can't believe it's only 5 weeks!!! I saw the upgrades that are planned during dry dock and I'm looking forward to the new Cove Cafe and teak loungers at the Quiet Cove. Ahhhh...

Oh, I'll stay dry. I've just started really feeling better over the past couple days and I still have some cough and congestion. I am not getting out in the ran at all. Merkie's Daddy suggested that I take the girls to Gattitown instead of the festival today to avoid the ran. I'm going to wait an hour or so and suggest it to them to see how it goes over.

Normally, you'd be right, but I have the best EX-husband in the world. I tell him all the time that if he was half the husband that he is an ex, we'd still be together. We get along great. Most people ask why we don't get remarried, but neither of us wants to. I think the world of the lady he is dating. I'm not dating anyone right now, but he has like all but one person that I have dated since the divorce. We just decided that we can fight with each other until Merkie reached 18 and make ourselves and Merkie miserable, or we can get along.

I believe regular mail. But we got a slip saying the P.O. Has something for us to sign for a letter and Bruce is going to go and get it. Does not say who it is from though!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I'm excited and it's your mail!!!!!!! I can't wait to hear if you got your docs. Is there some pattern of how they are mailed out? Always on Friday or alphabetically, or anything?

So much for staying dry. I just went out and checked my mailbox. Post Office has nothing for me today! I'm still hoping for Kristin. Wouldn't it be so exciting for one of us to get our docs today. We would really start chatting then.

Hey there Mary!! Nice to see you again. Have fun at the MOA, I think we are heading up to Albertville today.

Sounds like some exciting stuff in your world lately! Tomorrow we are suit shopping for dh, he really doesn't have one at all. My ds doesn't get involved in homecoming yet, thank goodness! I don't think our school even has a dance or anything, just the football game.

Enjoy our late October weather today, crazy isn't it? From hot and nasty, straight to cold, gotta love it here.

I'm back. Merkie's Daddy just dropped the food off and couldn't stay. He came by the elementary school where everyone was supposed to sign in for the parade and said that very few people where there. If it doesn't stop raining soon, they may cancel the parade.

Official word.........parade is cancelled. I hate when this happens. Everyone puts so much hard work and time into making some of these floats. It is just raining too hard and now there is thunder and lightening. I understand that it has to be cancelled, but it's still sad.

I do not think that there is any order as to how they are mailed out but not sure about that!!!!!

I now understand what you all have been talking about when you mention Jon and Kate. I never heard of the show before, but my daughter called the other night to tel us to record a particular episode. It's the one where the twins turn 7 and they take the sextuplets to Gymboree. My daughter teaches at a Gymboree in DC and she wanted to give us a chance to see what she does.
