October 11-18, 2008 Disney Magic Parrothead Pirates in Paradise Chapter 11

I am back. This day just kept getting worse. When we got to the restaurant, there was a huge group there taking up almost all the seat. We were told it would be over an hour before we would get a table. Long story short, we ended up at Taco Bell. (Hey, it's still Mexican.) Then there was no movie that the girls wanted to watch. We ended up at Walmart. Then we took Emily home and I dropped Merkie off at her Dad's. So frustrating. It has stopped raining now.

How has everyone else's day been?

Erika, I have read so many different things, I am starting to get more confused! OQ is for 11-14? The Stack is for 13 and up? Or is it a permanent change that the Stack starts at 14? Colton might be crushed if he can't go up there, but I have to say, I won't be heartbroken.

Heidi, we too have given Colton to sign out Connor, although Connor will be able to sign himself out too. I imagine they will hang out together too. They do anyway.

I have about an hour of daylight left and my yard needs tending to.....Be back later!

I don't know at the stack, but I do know that when we cruised before, there were I think they called it Family Fun Times when children of any age can visit OQ. Merkie went and she was only eight at the time. I went with her. We had so much fun pretending to dock the ship. I can't remember what that simulator thing is called.

Doesn't affect my kids now, as Alexa will be 3 months shy of 13 and Matthew is 15.

Personally I agree... though I kind of lean towards a 15-17 split rather than 14-17...

well, that's enough cussing for one night. sheesh. I didn't even really get done. I got the front cut and trimmed, inbetween "hey how are ya" and "good to see you too"! I got the back cut, thanks to the motion detector lights! LOL The trimming REALLY needs done back there tho. Maybe tomorrow, maybe.....

I too, like the 13 yos with the younger set. I don't have any qualms with telling Colton tough beans. Maybe they need to concider something "better" for the tween set.....those 11 to 14. Colton spent some time in OQ last trip, but besides the simulator, whatelse was there to do? Do they have a wii in there now? do the CMs have planned activities for them? I think he would enjoy that. I just can't remember! LOL

Hello! It's okay. There are people with a lot better reasons to complain than me. Truth is we needed the rain. I just wanted to enjoy the festival.

I do have one good thing. I got on the internet and looked around and found a wonderful idea for the FE gift. I changed completely what I was planning to do. Now, one nicer gift for the family to share. This solves my problem of not knowing which gift to give to those teens. I think everyone will like what I just ordered though.
