Good Morning everyone! Hope everyone is doing well this morning. I probably won't have time to post the next few days. I have volunteered at the Right to Life booth at the festival this morning, so I am heading there until noon. Then I'm going to hit the craft booths before going to pick up Merkie at school. She is now bringing three friends home with her and I am taking all of them to the festival tonight. Only one is spending the night with us though. They want to be up there by 5:00 to eat and socialize a little before heading to the football came. Tomorrow, Merkie and I are both riding in the parade on our church's float, so we have to be to the loading site by9:30 to check in. The float this year is great. We have the three crosses with the center one being much larger. Everyone is dressing in costume. We have Jesus and Romas soldiers, everything. It's going to be fun. Then the rest of the day tomorrow will be food, friends, rides and music.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone.

Went to school to set up the teacher breakfast for 6:30. UGH!!!!!!!!!!! I stayed up till the flights opened up for our Easter Trip to WDW and got them booked @ 1:30 this morning.. I am going to be beat by tonight. Got to run back to school for 9:15 to clean up the breakfast. Then a quick walk with some other moms from school. Then home to cut the grass..... Be back when I can later on!!!!!!!!!

Kristin, you are a busy girl!!!!! I hope you have time to relax this weekend!!

2 out 3 chores down. Not bad. CalledRich at work, and he said he'll be home in a bit and we'll go out for an early supper, so Murphy soaping hte cabinets will have to wait.

Hanna is definitely moving up the coast, Getting a goood steady rain right now. Has picked up a little bit in the past few minutes or so. And these are just the outer bands of it. So I'll be on as the weather/power allows this weekend. No worries though. We'll be just fine.

Yanno how everyone has days when they hate thier jobs? today was my day.... cranky kids, puke, poop and late parents, just make for a long miserable day. To top it off, I am just VERY cranky and emotional. I just need to go to bed...but there's no bed at the football field. ...sigh.....

How did your TA do that. I thought once you paid in full for the cruise you could not get a price adjustment for a better rate. Please share...I've gotten them before I've made final payments when they released Florida residents rate. Now it seems like they don't release those until after final pmt was due and I never looked into it.
I'm going to go look at the requirements. My dad is retired Air Force. I know he has gotten discounts at Shades of Green.

My thinking is that they have to be active duty. Not sure if that means retirees are eligible. I just know they said to bring his active duty ID.
My TA knew up front that I was going to be harassing her to see if it came out. She said the military rates are only released (if at all) near to the sail date so it would always be after full payment to my understanding.

Call and see! IT worked for me and if it works for you then WOO HOO! I'm assuming your father is sailing with you?

We are staying at SOG for the first time ever this trip. Did you stay there? If so, how did you like it?

Ooooohhhhh it is!!!! He's a much better cook than I ever thought about being... J is a good cook too... but he's just beginning to be a good cook...he can cook plain SUTHERN... now he watches Food Network and is learning other ways to cook!

It's baked spaghetti, nothing special!! There is a show on Food Network called Semi-Homemade Cooking. That is how I cook. Boxes and cans embellished with what ever happens to be in the fridge of the pantry. I used to cook for a living many many years ago. Those of you who have been around awhile and done much traveling will remember all Holiday Inn's had a restaurant that had to be open certain hours of the day 365 days a year. We had one here. I had a friend at school whose Grandmother was the Manager. He got me a job washing dishes and got me started cooking. Eventually, I was the weekend night cook...and sometimes I opened Sunday morning, and closed Sunday night (same day) Sunday nights were usually really slow, so I did a lot of "experimenting"

Where did all that come from?????

Anyway, I came here to let everyone know I have the format issue with The List resolved finally!! The original list came from a diser in Germany (Michele knows Viking!!) and I finally figured out it was formatted to a metric paper size. I had to do some compressing and now it should print correctly!! I have made an addition to the list, so I am ready to do an update. If anyone else has any changes to the list, send them soon!!

If you've ever done the autographed pillowcases, should you launder the pillowcase first? I'm having one done as a surprise for my nephew Hayden. The cruise is getting so close now, we leave the 7th, hooray

Hope everyone is doing well, it's been another busy week here. I guess my day wasn't too bad. This morning I met first with our contractor, then the flooring company for the remodel. So many decisions to make, but just about done with the plans. Then I ran a few errands and wham the day is done. Time to relax, a glass of wine sounds really good! The Moms here always sound so busy with the kids, wow! Your children are very lucky to have you guys as parents! Makes me miss those days some, but not enough to do it all again! Well just wanted to say hi and have a great weekend all!

I was too lazy to read the many threads about pillowcases and hoped someone here just may know, thanks. Sent you a pm with a list update, thanks for all you do. Spaghetti sounds yummy.......and I love men that cook. I always tell Joe that I just love a meal I didn't cook! They use to call him Big Red too back in the day. His hair isn't quite so red anymore, but I love him anyway. He is hoping to see the space shuttle launch and of course visit Margaritaville again when we're in Orlando!
