I hope Merkie feels better today!!!!!!!

Thanks, and Merkie said thanks to. Her fever is not as high today, but she can't breathe through her nose at all. Her throat is still sore and now she says her ears are hurting. When she gets started coughing,it makes her head hurt. The funny thing is, with all of this she still thinks she has to get all dolled up just to go to the doctor. We both started getting ready at the same time. I've finished and have caught up on here and she still isn't ready. She said it's because she feels so bad that she is moving slowly. I asked her what her problem is every other morning.

Hello Everyone! Just checking in again while the babies sleep!! what a morning! I think Andrew is teething...getting a molar. He keeps crying out and grabbing at his mouth. Poor Kid. I hope he sleeps well.

Kaj and Sean! What is the big deal getting sick right before vacation?? Well, I guess better now then in 3 weeks!! GET WELL SOON!!

Merkie, the doctor doesn't really care what you look like today. You are sick. I hope it's just a cold and you get better soon too!!!

Kristin, thanks for the compliments! I still look at those photos and can't believe how much they have grown!!! I still see them as my little guys. But now I have to look up to Colton! My babies are leaving too quickly!

I forgot to say, Don, the gazebo is BEAUTIFUL! We have wanted one for several years. I would love to enclose my deck and add that to it. I would get a LOT of use out of it! Did you add electric to it for a fan and lighting? There are a few places around here that carry them. They bring them in from PA and OH Amish Countries!

Thank you everyone...I would be ok with hugs...Although I usually do not initiate them, I wouldnt be against receiving them and returning the hug while you are hugging me My family is a BIG huggy type family, so that really doesnt bother me...Talking on the phone however I just quietly watch people...I rarely jump into conversations but I do like to talk Disney...So that will help. Usually Disney and Animals both do the trick when talking I have started doing the pin trading at Disney in hopes to start pushing myself to go up to people...Somedays I can...Other days the pins just hang there while I try to eye others from a distance. But mostly I only go up to Cast members who look like they are bored. They are often shocked that I ask them to pick one of mine instead of just giving them a select one But usually IF I have to confront someone which I HATE doing...I wind up crying or getting all shaken up. It usually ruins my day. I dont even complain of bad food...

I have always been on the shy side...I would hide behind my sister when I was younger because she has always been the talkative one. I would always be happy just being quiet and watching and listening but my actual Anxiety attacks have just started within the last 3 or 4 years. I hate the attacks because you never know when one will occur and when it does, it leaves you fearing the place that you had it in...or the type of surroundings. So you build up a fear of the fear. It is really hard to deal with. I think I have ulcers do to it and everything...It sucks!

OK I hope all the ones who are sick...start feeling better. Kaj, Sean, Merkie

Ok things have changed on the trip...We are leaving this weekend So I will be up there Next week Which means I need to get my butt in there packing

Oh I have to tell you guys this...I have been forgetting but i am so excited about it:

When we were flying back in from Vegas to Ft.Lauderdale (the airport that we always use) I looked out the window and saw two Cruise ships...I kept looking and then told Mike that the one cruise ship looked a lot like the Disney Cruise ship...because it had red stacks...well he couldnt hardly hear me and said "Yea A lot of cruise ships are Red and Black" but I just kept thinking to myself that it looked an aweful lot like the Disney Cruise ship!...Well then i come on here and find out that the Disney Magic ship had to indeed dock here at the Port!!! So I saw the Disney Magic as we were flying in and Im so happy Sorry I just had to add that because Its been my happy thought for the last few days

Shauna, that is so COOL that you get to go to WDW THIS WEEKEND!!! WOW! What did you decide to do? Poly? You'll LOVE it! It is our favorite deluxe...so far. LOL We have stayed at the Contemporary and The Polynesian, oh and Animal Kingdom! But the Poly is where we would choose to go back to! I have to say though, we stayed Concierge too. The property is just beautiful!


Remember how I was going on and on about the Halloway House Floor Finish? When my Inlaws were here this weekend, she was talking about my floor. We had a water leak and had the old floor torn out and new put down....this was years ago. She was saying that this floor is SO much more shinier then the other was. LOL I did give away my little secret though! She is talking about getting new floor in her kitchen, but if this would perk it up, she might not! She has vinyl, but it says you can use it on that too! That was, to me, a great testimonial that this stuff is AWESOME!

Time to don my comfy clothes, start laundry and make dinner. Chicken Stir Fry!

Haven't had much time to catch up. Heidi, I hope the boys get better quick. GAil, I hope you had a good drs visit for Merkie.

Work's been busy but a lot better than last week(knock on wood). 1 more day to go b4 Friday off and then its my weekend to work. TG the kids go back to school next week.

How cooll does it get onboard the ship at night? Should I plan bring a pair of jeans or some kind of pants and maybe a light sweater?

That'd mean I'd have to go buy some as all my long pants are too big except the ones I wear for church

Hello everyone! Thanks for the well wishes for Merkie. She does not have strep, but she does have a severe head cold. Meds and rest were the orders. She has to miss school again tomorrow. I can't stay home from work, so we are packing an overnight bag and she is going to her Dad's for the night. I did stop by the school to get her assignments so that she won't get behind. She said "Gee thanks Mom!"

I hope everyone else with sick kids got good news at the doctor.

Anyway, she is ready to leave. I'll check in later.

Maureen, I wore long pants to dinner a few times and took a light sweater to the shows. It seems to be really cool in there. But then you are only in there for maybe an hour? I remember wearing my sweater on the first cruise, but not on the second? I am sure I'll have it with me, A Girl Scout is always prepared!, but I might not take it with me every night. I never found the dining rooms to be cold though, just the theater. HTH!

I am glad to hear Merkie does NOT have strep!!! What a relief!! Now for some TLC and rest! I am sure she was thrilled with not missing any school work! LOL My boys would be the same way!!! But to me, it's better then getting everything on Friday and then spending the whole weekend catching up!
