Hey Nancy, Im doing really good today. Trying to get info from our Travel Agent about Disney...Mike was thinking that we might go during Labor day weekend If so though I will need to start packing

In the meantime I have some good news....CHRIS IS POTTY TRAINED!!! He has been wearing Underoo's (as we call them for him) for 2 Whole days....and he hasnt went pee or poo in them!! He doesnt even go during the night! (I mean if he does then he will wake up and tell me that he has to go potty!) We are shocked...Just last month he wasnt at all interested, and suddenly he is going potty like a Big Boy!!

that's great Shauna about Chris being potty trained!!!!!!!!! I know how much of a big deal that is!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

that's wonderful that you guys are going to Disney soon!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I know I am no Gina...thank goodness she isn't here to see that mess! LOL!...but the boys LOVE it and want it every year!!!!! It was something I saw in a Family Fun Magazine. Some years I use Teddy Grahams...so there's no decorating, you just stick them on, but the boys don't care for them and then I end up with a box that goes stale. Nilla wafers, they will eat!!!

Okay, if you'll indulge me one more time...here is a photo I took at the football game. Connor is number 6, he is standing behind the biggest boy on the team, Ethan. Ethan is the boy that weighs in at 196 and Connor is only at 92! I have really watched Ethan play and he is a gentle giant. He gets the job done without using too much brute force!!!

Gail- Yea it makes it hard to pick the Value resorts (although that is where we stay 99 percent of the time that we go) I dont mind staying there one bit If I have help with Chris, but its a challenge in itself for me to go alone, and I do suffer from Anxiety issues. I am often surprised that I can go and do this by myself. Im not saying that I am ever anxiety free though...It takes all I have just to be able to go up to the desk to check in, Thankfully the Disney Cast members are so nice and sweet But to have to stand on the bus with Chris and a stroller, or make anyone upset by avoiding a bus all together, Might push me a bit too far on the anxiety scale I know that I could do it IF I pushed, but I sorta want to enjoy the vacation and with one less thing to worry about...Might just be what it takes to have me give up some shopping money

Now this is a whole different matter. I can completely understand why you want to avoid the buses if you have problems with anxiety. The buses, especially at night when the parks close, can get a bit hectic and crowded. I would definitely stay at a monorail resort in this case. Out of curiosity, how do you deal with the crowds in the parks. My Dad has problems with anxiety and panic attacks. He handled the buses alright, but he was never on them when they were crowded. He couldn't handle the parks. We got up early and went to the parks. When the crowds picked up around 11:00, he had to leave. We stayed and just met him back at the resort at the end of the day.

Well, I'm off to bed. I should have gone in to work today. Merkie is sick. She has complained for serveral days with runny nose and sore throat. I thought it was her allergies and increased her zyrtec (she is on low dosage all the time and we increase it during flare-ups). That hasn't helped. Today, she has fever and aches, etc. The secretary at school said that Strep Throat (spelling?) is going around at school and that five children in her class were absent today with it. Looks like we have the doctor waiting for us tomorrow.

Doing good here, accomplished a bunch of nothing tonight. We gave it a valiant attempt but the green car has to go into my friend's shop in the morning. The beer was good though

I hate strep throat with a passion because it loves me. I think the strep virus goes out of its way to find me!

Well it's not like I owe anything on the car but it doesn't go too far so we can invest a few dollars and keep it on the road for another year or 2. I'm doing OK though, the broken part was 275 here, found it at auto zone for 130 and ended up getting it off Ebay for 69!
