Long time no see Denis!

I just went for a walk, and wore a jacket too!!! I was wearing shorts, knee length, but it is plenty cool enough for a light jacket! Very odd for August. Gotta love that about MN weather, ya never know what you'll get.

I am not doing pillowcases, but I had thought about doing a photo mat. Of course that was months ago, and I forgot all about it. What size mat do you guys do?

I'm finally getting somewhere on my FE gifts, but the pirate costumes and door magnets are not getting very far yet.

These next few weeks are going to be nasty busy too, with work, and the neice from Germany here. That means a lot of family stuff, and I fear many fast food dinners. Busy busy busy, then school starts, yuck!

Hi Everyone! For all of you who are doing the pillowcase thing on board.Are you using a sharpie or fabric marker or what? Both would probably work.What have you tried before? What works best?

The last Disney cruise we went on, they took our pillowcases and that was it (she told me to keep the markers). When we got them back, they were signed by many and with different colors. Since then, (2004) the cases have been washed and the signatures are still readable and not really faded either.

Just for info, put your cases in a zip-lock bag with your name and cabin number on the bag or in the bag. If you are going give markers too, put everything in the bag. This will help out at guest services and they really appreciate it. And I think (from doing this in the past) you get more signatures on them. I know the first time we did the pillowcase thing, we only got the fab five and just a few more. The last time we had over 20 per case!

You can go the first day you board or the next day. You can also write on your baggie which characters you want to sign, IE: Just Princesses, Fab. Five, Just Villians, etc...!!!!!!

Go to guest services as soon as possible! The sooner, the more signatures!

I usually turn our in as soon as we unpack everything, have the lifeboat drill, and we set sail. Usually right before or right after the first dinner seating. The longer you wait to send your cases down, the busier they are at guest services.
