ok so weds, was better in terms of what we had to get done. ONly trouble was LODS asking us to pull new POGS(new endcap sets) in addition to what we normally do. Also I made the mistake of going by the flats being loaded with frozen foods and the LOD asked me to help. Oh joy.
So i went up and helped. Started throwing boxers on the floor in front of wherever they went and told ppl to just start with those and I'll clear hte flat off. Goes faster than 6 ppl all taking boxes and 4 of them not knowing where the crap goes.
That was the most normal day of the week. Even got done a little early. Hid in the breakroom for almost 15 minutes until it was time to go.
Now today, meant my open mind on the newest LOD(Guest Experience=Cashiers) is now closed. He's on my moron list now ansd should not be allowed to have a PDA(handheld computer i use to do everything i need)
He talked to Chris on my team and asked about our day's plan and Chris told him what htey were and mentioned that we hads a change to no longer reseearchinmg the clothing tables because they are autmoatically set now at MPG. He told Chris we still need to shoot htem, and Chris told him to look it up on the corporate site. He did, and Chris of course was right LOD wrong. But later on He found Chris again and said he shot an OUTS batch in Mini seasonal section. We have no idea how he did this because the whole section is MPG
And it would have told him that the location needed to be put into an MPG batch. But no, he overrode it some way and we wound with 4 extra tubs of items to pull for that section. What he should have done was come to us and had us take care of it. We would have pulled a lot less and still filled up the section. This LOD has no sense at all.
Also shoes research is thruisday and between the guests and the lazy overnight ppl they wind up all over the place. BUt we finally figured how NOT to mess up the counts if not getting an entirely accurate research picture. We check for locations in the back b4 hitting 0 for each shoe not in its space. Because if the PDA says there are 3 of the same shoe but no locations in back odds are they are floating around somewhere. This is our usual ongoing gripe about thursday.
But hey we finished all the batches by 2:30 when we were suppossed to be out the door. And trhat's all that matters.
