Monday had all 4 members of my team. But we spent all day catching up from the weekend that i didn't get done, plus the friday batches that i never got to on the weekend. And Monday means putting up labels for NEWLY Discontinued aisles/endcaps. So that added into the total of things to pull. With 2 of us starting to pull batches at 7:30am, which is way earlier than we usually start sulling on a Monday, it still took until after lunch to get everything pulled. The highlight of my day waas winning a thumbwar which meant I did not have to go outside to the trailers to pull the stuff in there. I could stick with the regular stockroom. BUt at the end of monday we were all caught up. And barely made it out the door by the end of our shift. I couldn't walk so Rich cooked that night.
Tues had only 3 of us cause 1 had to go to a funeral. I shoot entertainment research on Tuesday with 1 other person. And he was the 1 who couldn't be in. So the girl who runs that section offered to help which was nice of her. It me more than 1.5 hrs to get the ET stuff filled right at checklanes so I could do the counts correctly without having to wealk from back of store to front of store every 2 minutes. It usually only takes me 30 minutes to get them right so i can start.
I did movies and music. She did books, NONE of which were in the right place in the kids book section. We both started with research just 8am. I finished the movies and music by 11 which is fairly good time. The kids books never got done. We ripped out entire sections to put the books right b4 shooting each 1 and by 11:50am I was required to go to lunch and she was helping guests in between shoooting. Also she started her shift at 4am which meant she was leaving at 12:30pm. I said forget the rest of books.
UG!!!!!!!!!!! Does not sound like Fun at all!!!!!!!!
I have no idea how the books ever get counted correctly lately, and I'm pretty sure that they're not. After lunch I just helped push becasue we had 12 tubs of stuff to get out, which we did.
