We are surprising our twin girls with their first Disney trip for their birthday. We are staying onsite. We are going to MNSSHP on October 9th. We have 2-day park hoppper tickets for Friday and Saturday. Our plan is to take advantage of the EMH for AK on the 10th and go there first. We have Tusker House lunch reservations at 11:55am. We are going to take a mid-day break and then go to Epcot in the afternoon/evening for Illuminations. Should I save our FastPasses for Epcot so we can do Soarin that afternoon/evening? Our must do's for AK are the safari, the rapids and seeing both Lion King and Nemo. I think if we are there before the park opens that we should be able to do that without fastpasses?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Fast Passes are typically better utilized in the afternoon/evenings when ride waits are longer. I think your plan sounds like a good one and I am sure you will be able to do what you want at AK since you will be getting there early and October should be a decent time of year for manageable ride waits.

Yes, if you get to AK in October for an AM EMH, you should be able to hit all of those rides and shows w/o FPs and w/o long queues. Save your FPs for the evening at Epcot.

Enjoy!

Be aware that the Food & Wine Festival will be going on and with this being a Friday night the World Showcase will be "packed" :crowded:
