I am almost finsihed booking everything for our trip Oct 28 to Nov 7 and I had to thank all of you! I lurked and learned so much to help plan the perfect trip! I am even catching on to all the abreviations. I have 4 kids, so it will be a total of 6 of us, plus my in-laws will join us for a few days. I couldn't handle the idea of 10 days with my kids in a hotel, so we are renting a house for a week and then 3 nights at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal. We rented a house with a Mickey shaped spa by the pool! Thanks to the hints here I joined AAA and combined with my Loews First memebership I got a deluxe room at a GREAT rate! We will do Disney the first week. My daughter and I will be going to the My Disney Girl and me Tea Party at GF and CRT breakfast. The whole family will go to the Ohana breakfast and for my birthday we are going to Chef Mickey's for dinner. We plan to do MNSSHP on the 31st, if we can get tickets. We also are going to try to book my husband and I for Seas Aqua tour. Once we move to the Hard Rock we will spend 1 day at Sea World and the rest at Universal. We are thinking we will do the Universal Meal deal for the kids the first day, see how it is and then if it works out well we will all get it for the rest of our stay.
We took the kids 5 years ago to Disney, but they we so young they didn't get the full enjoyment out of it. My husband and I have gone to Universal by ourselves and loved the Royal Pacific hotel.
My kids are 11 year old triplet boys and a 8 year old girl. Any hints on special activities for the boys? Also how hard do you think it will be for us to get tickets to MNSSHP on the 31st? I read that you can not pre-order those.
Thank you again for all the tips adn I can't wait to report back on our trip!!
