Hi,
We are looking at going for a 'cheeky week' at Oct half term next yr - Oct
22nd - 29th. Can anyone give me an idea of prices for flights pp that they have paid on previous half terms? We are 2 adults, 2 children. Am also panicking slightly as Virgin flydrives have gone for those dates, and WDTC flights only available for 9 nights. We have no flexibility on dates. :sad2:

Can anyone offer any advice / previous experience?

We've just come back did 15th -29th.

Booked this March so only 6 months out via jetsave - Virgin atlantic from Manchester.

Paid £1850 for 2 a + 1 child inc intermediate car with alamo and full insurance.

To be honest I was struggling to get anything at a price I would pay - flew friday - saturday was fully booked.

Flights both ways were full.

Thanks for your reply. Bit the bullet last night and booked a package with TCD - at least we can pay it off bit by bit!

Good for you. :thumbsup2 At least you don't have to stress about finding flights now. So much harder when you have fixed dates.

Where are you staying?

You are very wise about the parties. We enjoyed our one night but it was in our last week and DD and I agreed that to do everything properly, you need two nights. We missed the fireworks in favour of riding Space Mountain and we all know about crossing the park from one side to the next during, before and after fireworks and parades. I have no regrets but 2 nights is the way to go.

Hooray for POFQ. The lady who did my booking on the phone loves it as well. Try and get your party tickets for the beginning part of your stay. The parties get much busier as the end of the month approaches. ;)

Thanks for the advice Lee - going by this year's dates, we should be able o do two parties at the start of the week, and avoid the Friday night which I think would be busier. :goodvibes We did the Pirate and Princess parties back when they were in existence and sacrificed the start of the fireworks for an amazing meet with Jack Sparrow :lovestruc, and always said we would have been better doing two nights - one for getting on the rides with less queuing and one for the atmosphere, parades, fireworks etc. :goodvibes
