Oct 31 Halloween Party ??

We are arriving OCT 31 so we bought the tickets for that nite in MAY. Reading this section, it seems like HALLOWEEN nite on a SUNDAY will be a zoo. Any comments on how crowded and crazy this nite will be, Hate to spend the money and still have to wait on long lines?

and are going to the Halloween party. Even though it is probably the busiest day for the party since it is the first day we are there it is the only chance we will get to see it so we bought the tickets. On previous threads people who had gone on this day said yes it was crowded but the lines were still pretty short.

I believe MNSSHP is sold out for 10/31 so it might be crowded. I'm not sure how many tickets they sell for those events though. Maybe someone else will know.

Yes, it's pretty crowded.

Depending on where you are, though, some areas are more crowded than others.

We had no problem, though, getting our photo, trick or treating and seeing the parade.

Fantasyland was very crowded.

It's still great fun.

We did the party on Halloween night before too and besides the lines for candy, we didn't run into any lines. My DGD isn't into candy all that much and just jumped into the short candy lines we came upon. One of the bears, from Country Bear Jamboree dropped a packet of mustard in her trick or treat bag and that cracked her up. Go, and have fun. I wish we were going on Halloween again this year!

Last year we did the party on 10/30 which was also a sold out night and we thought it was a lot of fun! Yes, it was crowded, but felt very festive with all the people, decorations, and costumes. Even though it was crowded the lines for candy and rides were not that bad. The only thing I would recommend is that if you want to see the speical Halloween parade make sure you line up early. We also waited to do our Halloween family picutre until later and that provided us with a much shorter line than we had see earlier in the night. Have a great time!
