Hello all,

We just book our second cruise and just found this thread. Wow, over 200 pages!!!

We are 4, DW, DD(17) DS(9) and myself.

Would like to participate in the FE and if anyone that has a girl about the same age as mine, it would be great if we can get them to get to know each other. Mine does not feel right going to the teens place by herself.


My wife and I would like to go to dinner, but want to make sure that she is having fun too.

Any links to the FE would be great.

That explains what to do so you will be included in the FE and will be able to look for other teens around your daughter age. We have a cruisemates list that will help with all of that.

Hey Everyone! welcome to all the new people on board guess its been a couple months since i have been on the boards i have trouble with it till we get to a few months out. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life.

I wish the weather would become warmer it was nice for a few days like 70s and now its 40 again i really think mothernature is bipolar or something.

Well for all the newbies we cruising in a big group 16 total me my DH,DS,DMIL,DFIL, 2 DSIL,her 2kids her b/f and his daughter,sister,nephew,etc on his side. Big group but looking forward to it being a fun time. Cant wait to relax on the treat. Its my first 4day we did a 7day and i loved it cause its relaxing but i dont know how i am going to cram everything in 4days lol i need more ship time LOL

DD went back to school this week, and DH back to work at MK after a wonderful week off. We had to plan something to get them through the week, so we are heading to Bahama Breeze for dinner tonight. DH works tomorrow, so DD and I may head to Typhoon Lagoon. Sunday we are heading back to Universal/IOA. Love that we added these annual passes this year! DD is asking for a trip to Hogsmeade and a frozen butterbeer. At 6, she rode Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey last week. While she loved the ride, she disliked some of the effects. We probably won't get her back on it anytime soon, but we can still tour the castle, and DH and I can switch off riding. Of course, errands and housework for me today (boo).

Morning all,
Stephanie i am so jealous you are going to the parks while i sit here freezing and its pouring rain everyday for as far as they can forcast.
We use to live in Florida and had annual passes to OIA, WDW and Seaworld. We went to one of those places every weekend for the most part. Sure miss them.

Another quiet wet day here. The weekend will be here soon. No plans for tomorrow but sunday is a family get together for pizza and family fun. Will spend the night and come home monday.

Anybody else have plans this weekend??

For those who have never cruised with bananaheads before one of our little quirks is to see who can get the most top of the page posts by cruise time.

I usually keep track but not until the cruise is a bit closer because its not fair to all the new people to start counting from day one. About 6 months out fromt he cruise I will try and start keeping track. We use to see who posted the most too but that got to be crazy with some posting over 1000,000 of them Thats to many for me to count this time.

Actually snowing here in Iowa today. Kind of bummed as we've been trying to get the kids baseball and softball teams outside for some practice now this just throws us back another week.

I'm very jealous of Stephanie. Sounds so cool to just pick up and head over to IOA or WDW at a moments notice. I'm hoping my wife and I will have a condo in Florida some day to be able to do that when we want. We would both like to have it on the Gulf side so the trip to WDW would be a piece of cake

Ok Stephanie, do you have an extra room in your house? I think I need to move to Florida....I would love to come and go at Disney any time.....I just ordered and received in the mail today the free park planning video...I'm sending it to my daugther so she can let Izzy watch it...hopefully that will convience them to at least start making plans to go...(which would included me) I'm thinking its time for a Disney trip...its been a few years...

It was the day to book DVC for us today, and I forgot to call at 9 am, agh!! I was looking forward to trying for the Boardwalk Villas, was able to sta there for one night last year and it was lovely. When I called at 11:55, there was only one night open, so I went with our home resort Saratoga Springs.

But then during my lunch I thought about it and decided to risk the wait-list, while the wonderful CM Lanie was looking at BWV for setting up the wait-list she was chatting along then stopped and said "that can't be right" my heart stopped, what had gone wrong? Lanie then told me that "the resort across the way, Beach Club Villas with that awesome pool, had both nights I wanted in a studio, "unheard of at 7 months in October", she offered them to me and I jumped on them. Woo Hoo! This is my final DVC resort at WDW, I will have done them all after this trip.

Freezing cold here too, but I can feel the warmth of the Beach Club lazy river!

Well crap. Looks like we have to pull out of this sailing. Kids calendar for next year just came out. They get 2 days off in November and I was counting on them being this week. They are not. They are the following week. So the best we could do is the second part of your sailing but even that is hard to work out. Wondering who is doing the second part (3 nighter) as we try to work it out. Unless all our Nanahead friends want to switch to a back to back starting on Nov. 6.

Hope you can work things out for the 3 day. I know as the kids get older it's much harder for them to miss school.
We are booked for this cruise but may have to change the date too. We won't know until the first of summer. Will keep November 6th on my mind If we have to change dates.

Right now I think it's Shell, me, Tonya, MaryEllen (?) and Denise on the 3 night. Coming from Vegas it's would be hard for us to do the 3 night first, we would need to take off too much time to get there.

The reason we chose to go earlier this year was because I wanted to go to MNSSHP and Food and Wine Festival.

we will be at OKW before and after but are only doing the 4 day. Our kids want DCL time and WDW time.
