Good morning all and a very happy Friday to you!

Wishing this cruise would start to get here a little quicker! It's so cold here and I'm kind of over the whole winter thing...

I'm so excited about this cruise, it's hard to concentrate on anything! Since changing over from the Wonder to the Dream, my family has talked about this cruise each night at dinner! We made our before cruise arrangements (the Country Inn & Suites) and our after cruise arrangements (Bonnet Creek).

Now I'm looking at ways to decorate our door, FE, tshirts, and little ideas to make this cruise special for our first timers... What would you recommend? We have 5 new cruisers: ages 9, 25, 30, 31,and 58. All of them love Disney (I mean, really, who doesn't!?), but without giving away any of
the secrets or magic that they'll experience, I want to make this special and not overwhlem them. What would you do for your first timers?

Mornin everyone.... Can we get a move on with this cruise? It's takin way too long. I just took a peek at the menus and YES! They still haver butternut squash soup! Now I can cruise happy...

Time to head to Youngstown to visit mom and dad for awhile. Have a great day everyone.

Mornin All!

Mutt, my DH's Aunt and Uncle and their kids all lived in Youngstown, OH. They just moved this year to live with his mom in Arkansas. Small world.

Headed to my family's place on the lake for my last Christmas. It's the big one that my mom's siblings and all their kids go to. It will be about 40 of us in one house. Kids are so excited, they love playing with their cousins. I made a chocolate cake and mac and cheese from scratch last night for the carry in dinner. It's starting to make me hungry to think of all the yummy food, so much for my diet today!

Spent the morning cleaning the basement...and only was able to clean 1/3 of it It is such a mess and so much junk....trying to dump as much as possible. Hoping in the next few weeks we can finish with it.


Other than that excitement nothing else going on today.

Now tryin to decide what to cook for dinner....

I am finally here today. Been busy buying groceries and preparing stuff for the freezer. It took me forever today.
Its dumping heavy rain all day here although we are 55 degrees which is nice.
Stopped at Wendy's for some Chili to bring home for dinner tonight. Love it when I dont have to cook and dirty up a bunch of dishes.

Son, did I read it right that you will go visit your mom but wont go visit your other mom because its too far. Well now i know who your favorite mom is


Denise when your done cleaning your basement you can come clean out the storage in here. We are so cluttered.

I am not going with any other ladies but would love to have some other ladies get together and do some lady things. It will be me(26), DBF(24), and DD(5). I have never cruised before so I am new to this.

Besides posting here we always have a meet the first day to meet everyone on this thread.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Kathy. Your family will definitely be in our thoughts and prayers. The good news (if one can even say that during this time) is that she passed peacefully. However, the loss of a mother is a great loss, nonetheless.
