I keep forgetting to check in here with my fellow cruisers. I'm thinking last ime I did may have been way back in Oct!!! How come I don't get a DIS email telling me to check out the new posts ? Weird.

Saw Mamma Mia NYE Fun but not as fun as being at Disney, we were there over the millenium NY ....now that was CRAZY!!!!

Hope everyone had great holidays. We are busy inviting all our friends to cruise and seeing which ones will take us up on it. We also reserved a 2Bed villa and a studio at BC when we get back and are filling that with friends and family too. Hoping this will be a wonderful trip.

Well the holidays are over....they went really fast, but I had a great holiday...
Now just looking forward to going on this cruise.

Just did a little re-arranging today...one of my spare bedrooms is my Disney room....so Wally and I moved a few things around. My son took my dolphin swim pictures from the 2008 cruise and framed them for me for christmas...turned out really good.....I will try and get a pic and then try posting it here. So I hung that up....the room looks really nice...but I still need to add...(you can never have enough disney stuff)

I cant belive its back to the old grind tomorrow. Will be working overtime again...first of February heading to Colorado...Heather is having back surgery so I will go for a week...Ritch her fiance' will be there when she has surgery but he needs to go back to his base, I will fly in and take over...so looking forward to seeing my little Izzy...

Morning all,

cold again today. Been up since 3:30 today due to a backed up water pipe that flooded the shower into the kitchen area. We have to leave water slightly running to the pipes dont freeze up. Well these was a clog so all the water was backing up all night, then ran over.

Minnie got up to get a drink and was unhappy because she got wet feet. So she jumped on the bed for Greg to notice she had wet feet which of course told him something was wrong.

Not the way you want to start the morning. I think I might even of learned a few new swear words from what i heard today

Will try and nap later this morning. Right now I have laundry going to clean the towels we had to use to clean the place.

Hi everyone!
We are back from a great (but exhausting) holiday trip to WDW. I'll try to post some photos later after I download but right now I'm trying to get caught up on work and feeling overwhelmed.

No trip report, but some highlights from our trip included: We got up three days in a row to hit the parks EARLY - either right at rope drop or close to it (earlier if there were EMH). We rode EVERYTHING we wanted to ride - some of it more than once at MK, Epcot and DHS on those three days. And we were out of the park early. The downside was that it was 32 degrees two of those mornings. Brrrrrrrrr. But so worth it when we saw how crazy busy the parks got by late morning, early afternoon.

We also did the DVC Merry Mixer that was way fun and then we did a DVC presentation for members at BLT's Top of the World Lounge on NYE (our off-park day) and scored 12 magical Fast Passes for our trouble. So on New Year's Day, we ran into some folks checking out who gave us six more of those fast passes. We put them to good use and rode TSM, TOT (just me), Rockn Roller Coaster at DHS, then went to Epcot and rode Soarin and Test Track.

The weather warmed up by our third day there (even went into the pool and hot tub) and the sun was shining brightly the entire week.

Stayed at BCV and loved it as always. Had a one bedroom which really helps with comfort.

Had some great meals - LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Italian place (Via Napoli), had a great NYD dinner at Tutto Italia, NYE at the Yachtsman, an early week dinner at Narcoosees (one of our faves).

New Year's Eve was our day to NOT go to a park. And what a good decision it was. I decided to head into Epcot around 3:30 or so to get a piece of pizza at Via Napoli's "takeout window." There were people camped out on the bridge between France and England at that hour - picnic blankets and all. And then there was what looked like a homeless encampment on the grass next to France. It was truly crazy and the crowd was shoulder to shoulder. I couldn't get out of there soon enough!

Ok back to work. Hope to get some pix up later.

Denise it wasnt a burst pipe, just a clogged one which was bad enough.
Did a temp fixed until we can get the stuff we need to do a permanent fix.

Hi Denise,

Hope you have a good day at work.
Still cold here but not quite as bad. Lows in the 30's not 20's for a few days IF they are right for a change with their forecast.

Suppose to get some showers tonight and of course if your freezing or below it will be freezing rain, snow or icy roads tomorrow.

Not doing anything today. Hopefully tonight Greg will have time to download my recent photos from Christmas so I can post a few. I still cant believe our last 2 cameras wernt compatable with my computer for down loads. What a pain.

I think it's 90 days from sailing, if I remember correctly ... so you're looking at around the end of July/first of August. They should send you a reminder.
